I really don’t know where to start. I will start with the positives. The staff. The drinks. And let’s stop there with the positives. The negatives we ordered 3 apps and the grilled octopus was the best of the three and I don’t like grilled octopus but I was hungry and needed to eat something. I have had osso bucco at least 50 times in my life at 20 different places and I can say without a doubt that this was by far the worst I ever had. I am going to the next subject because I don’t want to think about the bucco anymore. One of the other dishes was chicken Milanese and they left 3/4 of the dish and did not take it home. If I had 50 bucco s I have had 200 creme brûlée and this was the absolute worst brûlée I have ever had I think it actually I know it was way over cooked and possibly there too long. I only eat that dessert and it was really bad. We went here from the reviews and comments and I really am thrown for a loop on how this place gets the reviews it gets and amazing enough have return customers. When we walked in on a Friday night at 630 and only 3 tables were full right then and there I got a little nervous and should have done a 180 and went somewhere else. I know everyone has different taste’s but I could not give this more than a 2. I would not return and never suggest to anyone.

If you want a good breakfast and a pretty good bagel, definitely stop here! They are reliable, consistent and very fair with their prices. I've had their breakfast sandwiches on bagels, flagels, and rolls as well as a few sandwiches for lunch including a very tasty ruben. We do find that their bacon has a slightly funny taste to it, but all in all they are very good. They will deliver (although it does take about an hour) and if they screw up they will bring you the correct order or take a note and you can get something another day which is compensated. I highly suggest Bagel Hut!

This was our first visit to Trento. Waitress was Gabby, who gave us a very nice overview of the menu and how plates could be customized. Needless to say the service was excellent. The food was served elegantly and very timely. Food was delicious and dessert was delicious.
Would definitely return to this venue!

New Italian Restaurant, great food, good atmosphere, family friendly, traditional italian food, fair prices,
Reminds me of dinner out when we were kids and restaurants were an experience. This place has a bit of the old world charm with great service and even better food. Went a couple of times but last time with 10 people and it was amazing. Everyone liked what they ordered and all the dishes came out pipping hot, which is the hardest thing to do when you are a large party. Portions are generous. They give you bruscetta to start and a wonderful fruit platter to finish. Hot and Cold Anitpasto plates were wonderful and the fresh mozzarella was delicious. Highly Recommend it.

Absolutely Mario's...is Absolutely Marvelous. The restaurant located in Farmingdale, LI has an wonderful atmosphere with lovely brick arches between two small dinning areas, a fireplace, a nice bar area with reasonable prices and one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dinning in. ...the service was attentive and very friendly and when our waiter responded to a question from my date as to whether they had clams linguini because it was not on the menu, he said, "we can make anything you want," you knew you were in a special restaurant. The chicken marsala I had was scrumptious as was the clams linguini and the chocolate covered strawberries we shared for dessert was absolutely delicious. We sat in a private booth near the fireplace and were serenaded by a roving accordion player who played classic songs and some of our requests. A truly wonderful dinning experience...

Reservations recommended but they always seem to find a table with a short wait.
Freshly made guacamole at the table is highly recommended.
Camarones Tropical is a must try. Slight kick in taste but not spicy at all.
The hibiscuses margarita is delicious!
Atmosphere is great for any occasion

Several friends for a little mid-week reunion on a Wednesday night (it happened to be "Farmingdale Restaurant Week"... ordered a pappardelle dish with eggplant; salad for starters and hazelnut sorbet for dessert with a very generously sized "cup" of coffee! Everything, including service, was perfect. Would definitely return and order something else from this versatile menu.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Got a coupon for my birthday plus they were serving $4 Margaritas so how could I go wrong. Went for a late afternoon lunch. My bride had the fajitas which she totally enjoyed and I ordered the salad with steak on a skewer. I was...MoreSo nice to hear you spent your special day with us! Were you able to speak with the manager about your salad? We're always here to help! Thanks for the feedback, and we look forward to serving you again soon. - Alex, Houlihan's Marketing

Had a quiet off peal lunch here with family. They are local and have been here many times. Sorry to say I was not impressed. Typical Long Island family restaurant. Food was uninspired and average at best. Meat was way over cooked. Salads were bland, and sandwiches large but just okay.

A Fondue Restaurant
I have been to The Melting Pot a total of 4 times. The first 2 times were great. The last 2 were disappointing and all wrong!!!
Making a reservation is easy on Open Table and is vital when eating at Melting Pot. It takes a while to sit and enjoy each course so expect to be at the restaurant for a minimum of at least 2 hours. The first time I went, my boyfriend surprised me with flower petals and candles on the table to celebrate an Early Valentines Day Dinner, which was very cute... I like the romantic vibe of this place. It can be romantic or for parties/special occasions/ birthdays/kids parties etc...very versatile in that way.
We always make a reservation!
The food is great. The food is not the issue I have with this restaurant. ***However on my last visit my order came with shrimp, and they were not properly cleaned before being served. It's like the people in the "kitchen" were in a rush or something? They don't cook for the most part so attention to detail should be at the forefront...it really grosses me out when Shrimp aren't cleaned properly because it can cause a number of illnesses.***
The first time we came, everything was perfect. Our server was wonderful (His name was Evan I believe). He was extremely attentive and really went above and beyond in helping us celebrate a wonderful Valentines Day. He even wrote "Happy Valentines Day" in sugar on a plate and gave it to us. He was extremely personable and we really enjoyed our first time. (Party of 2, We came on a weekday, and very early, so maybe some of the great service contributed to the time and day of the week we were there but no matter the date and time...there should always be quality service for such an expensive price of the food THAT YOU HAVE TO COOK YOURSELF.)
The second time we came everything also went perfectly. Again it was just the 2 of us and the service was spot on. (We again came on a weekday and this time if I recall, we went around 5:30-6pm.)
Unfortunately I only remembered our first servers name because he was so personable and made a great impression on myself and my boyfriend.
The 3rd & 4th visits are where it gets disappointing, and annoying. (The 3rd took place on a weekday late around 7:30pm, and the last visit took place at 8pm on a Friday Night) For the amount of $$$ being spent, I expect and deserve top quality service... and that far from what we got!! The last 2 times my group was a party of 3. Once we were sat in the main dining area, and during our most recent visit, we were shoved into the weird quiet backroom that is usually used for parties. It was extremely awkward sitting back there (no music playing, barely anyone was in there, and the server barely ever made it back there to check on us). For our third visit... our server was TERRIBLE! He never came around asking us for refills. We had to track him down to try and get more accompaniments for our fondues. He was the most unenthusiastic person while he was making our cheese fondue and explaining the different dipping sauces. It was like he was in pain and didn't want to be at work. He didn't even ask if it was for a special occasion, I had to tell him we had a Birthday, and all he did was come out with some extra brownies and a candle in the dish. I was thinking to myself "wow what an effort" *rolls eyes*. During my last visit, unfortunately I had a similar experience. Because we were sat in the back room, the service was even worse! We had a different server and he was not organized. He forgot to bring things to the table on several trips and made the wait time go up. We ended up being there for almost 3 hours, it was ridiculous... thats how slow everything was going. Had to wait an exorbitant amount of time to get drink refills, accompaniments, and it felt like it was taking forever to get served the next course. We were celebrating another birthday and told the server, and this time the he didn't even attempt to make an effort to acknowledge that it was their birthday. I left shocked, disturbed, and most of all disappointed.
Like I said before, for the amount of money I'm shelling out to dine here, I expect to be served and with a smile! It's unfortunate that the service is so poor because I really do enjoy the fondue.
Not sure if I will be back due to the fiascos that took place the last few times eating here.
