We were in Fall River on Columbus Day weekend to do the Lizzie Borden House tour and stopped at Patti's for lunch afterward. We learned about the restaurant on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and believe me, their segment does not do it justice.
We had five of us for lunch, four adults and our 11 year old son and we were all over the menu. I had the 12 pierogi platter with butter, onions and bacon (and yes I ate them all), My wife had a platter with pierogis, kielbasa and a golumki (stuffed cabbage). Our 11 year old had the pierogi minis wrapped in bacon and the other 2 adults in the group split a platter of 12 assorted pierogis. Every on raved about their meal. Truth be told, they were better than the pierogis grandma used to make. The homemade kielbasa was lean and tasty but (in my opinion) was light on the smoke.
If you're in Fall River, don't miss this place!

Wanted to try SAGRES based upon excellent reviews. My husband was born in the Azores and loves octopus, and tonight, there was an octopus special on the menu! Excellent! We also had appetizers: Shrimp Mozambique and Littlenecks in Garlic and Oil. Plenty of crusty bread for dipping!!! My husband said the Portuguese Soup was excellent (better than his Mom's!!). Our waitress, Andrea, was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Oh, don't leave without trying dessert, and if you like Flan, the Flan Cheesecake is FABULOUS!!!!

I stopped in late and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had two of their appetizers and they were both excellent. I look forward to returning on a future trip.

The Galley Grille serves the freshest seafood as well as the finest beef, chicken and creative pasta dishes. With its casual atmosphere and nightly specials, the Galley Grille is perfect for any occasion. We also offer weekday and weekend specials, free Team Trivia on Wednesdays from 7pm - 9pm, live music on Friday and Saturday night, free wireless internet service and wide screen TVs, so the game is always on!
This restaurant is convenient to the Hampton Inn which is across the street. We chose the Galley Grille on our first night in Westport based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. The food was excellent. I had the Friday night special of prime rib which was excellent, and the wife had the chicken pie which she loved. The portions were large and filling. The service was very good.
Our only problem was that we visited on Friday night and did not make a reservation so we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Call ahead on the weekends.
Also, there was live music on this Friday night. Good service, good food, good location, good price.

Four of us went to the Cove last Wednesday night. I drive by all the time to visit relatives, and thought, let's give it a chance. We all agreed we would return again - hopefully, in the summer. The décor, service, and food were all excellent. A restaurant can be pretty and have good service, but if the food does not exceed expectations forget it. The entrees we enjoyed were chicken and veal marsala, salmon with a lemon sauce, and scallops. Take a chance; I don't think you will be sorry!

Took some friends and purchased an assortment of pies. Excellent assortment of pies that are made on site. Great staff and delicious food. Will definitely return.

Service was welcoming and knowlegable. Our server was not overbearing but was very helpful. The restaurant's signature steak dish tasted perfection. The deserts and coffee topped of a wonderful lunch experience. We even had left enough on the plate for a take-home box. Caravela's popularity is well deserved.

We had a pleasant lunch with old friends at Lepage while visiting Fall River. Overall, our seafood was only average.
Hostess: prompt hostess seated us
Food: Decent portion size but the quality is missing. For example, the clam chowder had a decent amount of clams but didn't have a deep clam flavor one would expect (it more more like a regular generic cream soup with a few clams). Next, the baked cod was ruined by the preparation- drowned in an oil and bathed in soggy crackers. The vegetables were severely overcooked. But on the positive side, the potatoes were great.
Service: Prompt service
Cleanliness (overall): average
Bathroom cleanliness: average
