Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Several years ago my wife and I stopped happily at several Cracker Barrels on a cross-country trip. This time, after a stressful drive through St. Louis, I recommended a Cracker Barrel pause for rest and food and we were all glad I did. Though eerily identical, all of the Cracker Barrel restaurants seem to offer dependably very good food and friendly, competent service. I had the daily special Shepherd’s Pie, was very pleased with it, and I suspect will always go for the daily special on future visits to one Cracker Barrel or another.

I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed. The custard is excellent and the service is fast and friendly. The fruit and nuts in our sundaes were very fresh. Definitely worth your time and money.

This is our go to ice cream stand. They are the best. Just be sure to take cash as it is cash only. There is a bank across the street that does not charge ATM fees that really helps when you find yourself without cash.

Best place in town to get donuts! When I was a kid my grandma always got donuts here and now my kids get donuts here, been around forever!

This is the most modern Chik-fil-a I have seen. We stopped here in the evening on a multi day trip. The restaurant was much larger than other restaurants that I have visited in their franchise and evidently sees large numbers of customers during the day. This was a typical Chik-fil-a experience: consistently good quality food, clean facility, and great staff behind the counter.

Driving thru the US to our destination base we stopped for the night and went to eat dinner at this restaurant. OMG we were not prepared for whatcame to our table. The waitress told us that everything was huge servings but we’ve heard waitstaff say that before only to get our order with small to normal servings. This was not the case! We instead ordered appetizers because we had been driving all day and were very hungry. The drinks came in very large glasses with cherry lemonade free refills not that you really need it but good to have. The appetizers were amazing, large quantity, delicious, they also brought to our table free bread n butter which was also huge. By the time our dinner came, we were already stuffed. Everything and I mean everything is served large. Everything we ate was delicious. We had an amazing experience there and will definitely look forward to a drive sometime back. My only complaint was the greeter, she had a major attitude like people coming in were somehow disturbing her. It’s your damn job don’t like people look for something else. Our waitress was great though very friendly and she warned us that it would be a lot of food lol, she was right. So if you go I advise loose clothing, and go hungry. Expect to take some home :)

Bella Milano is contemporary Italian with old world flavor. We feature seasonal menus to ensure our guests enjoy the best of the season. Enjoy Bella Milano favorites such as bruschetta, toasted ravioli, Milano Salad, handmade brick-oven pizzas, pastas, seafood, steak, Chicken Parmigiano, and more. We have a children's menu, a gluten free menu, and offer catering, an all-seasons patio, and private dining for up to 125 guests.
We had some of the best Italian food in the area. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The servings are plentiful.

Tried and true steakhouse preferance of mine, this was the first time i tried the Fairview Heights location and was't dissappointed. My party of two began with the wild west shrimp, followed by ribeye steaks each accompanied with salad, bread, and side. All of my food was cooked as ordered but my dining partner thought his steak was too rare... he seemed to have it nearly eaten by the the he came to tha conclusion...

If you are out east of St. Louis you need to go here for a great steak. Their steak sauce is out-of-this-world and I recommend you buy a bottle(s) and take it home. I cook it with steak, chicken and pork. Excellent wine list, nice bar, and great service.

We were traveling and chose Agostino's from reviews. We were staying across the street. Without a reservation, we were seated pretty quickly. It filled up quickly so next time we will make one. We had a drink and started eating. The caprese was very good. I had the lobster and crab ravioli with a lovely light sauce. It could have used slightly more stuffing and maybe one less shell? My husband had the pork tenderloin and thought it was excellent. The cannelloni for dessert was delicious. The thing that separates this restaurant from most others is the service. I watched in amazement as this restaurant ran like a finely tuned machine. The owner would quietly say something and the staff sprung into action. We never ran out of water or bread and our meals were promptly delivered. It was such a good meal. We plan to stay at the same hotel and eat at Agostino's next time we travel through the area!
