This local ice cream shop does soft serve better than any chain. The soft serve cones come in a variety of flavors and they offer several topping options. They also have many delicious soft serve specialty desserts that include the Avalanche (think Blizzard but with WAY more options), the funnel cake sundae, strawberry shortcake and upside down banana split to name a few. There are options that are no sugar added, frozen yogurt and non dairy treats. The serving sizes are INSANE and really reasonably priced.
You can also grab a bite to eat here! The pepperoni roll and cheese sticks are a favorite with my family. The staff is super friendly. They only accept cash for payment. There is an ATM machine there but avoid the fee. They are open seasonally and are EXTREMELY busy (Pro-tip: order inside). This place is worth it!

Celebrating 48 years! We are a full service restaurant consisting of Banquets, off site Caterings, and Private Dining. We have a scenic view with our out-door deck seating over looking the river. Muriale's Restaurant specializes in Southern Italian cuisine made from family recipes handed down through generations. Stop in and try our favorites such as Our Homemade Lasagna, Meatball Casserole- a bed a pasta topped with our homemade meatballs , fresh peppers & melted mozzarella. or try a classic Spaghetti topped with our meat sauce and meatballs made in house from the freshest ingredients available. We have an array of homemade desserts that cure anyone's sweet tooth! Such as, an Italian classic tiramisu or a warm apple crumble pie topped with homemade butter pecan ice cream and caramel.
Always a taste extravaganza. Authentic Italian recipes. Ive never, ever, had a bad meal here. There isnt a higher rating than a 5 or it would get that. I cant drive through without stopping. Every dish is fresh, made to perfection. Nothing has been skimped or shortcut on. You will never left hungry or disappoonted.

Visiting friends in Fairmont we were told that the place is the "Pepperoni roll capital of the USA"....maybe even the universe!! so we of course bought a bag of them. Very fresh and tasty treat. When we got home and our teenagers found them, it was game over. They didn't last long. Very nice treat. Great little country bakery!!

On a recent trip to the southern USA I had the pleasure of eating in 4 separate Cracker Barrel Restaurants in Charleston, 2 in Myrtle Beach and one in Fairmont, West Virginia on the trip home to Canada. In all cases, the food was very good and very reasonably priced. Service was quick and the surroundings were comfy.
In the Fairmont location we experienced what we said was the 2nd best service experience in the many establishments we visited in 15 days. In particular, we want to shout out to Jena who was not only efficient but friendly to the extreme. The food was very good but the service was excellent. Here's to Jena!

Great food and very casual atmosphere! Daily specials are always delicious and the regular quiche, chicken salad sandwich, noteworthy chicken salad and unbelievable homemade rolls are always perfect. Obviously, you can tell by the name these are not the only outstanding things they serve. Get there early if you have a sweet tooth because they are only open until 2pm weekdays!!

Passing through Fairmont my husband and i decided that we would not eat at any chain resteurants. This wad a good choice. Frequented by locals, the service was quick and friendly. Hubby had the steip steak soecial and i had the slamon salad. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Go for the food, not the ambiance.

The environment is local and quaint. But the food is home cooked and plenty of it. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. We keep going back over and over again. Save room for dessert.

I would definitely recommend the Middletown Mall facility for a celebration like this. We had 38 people there and the service and food was top notch. The preparation and communication before the event and during the event was very good. They give you a choice of main courses, salads and desserts at various prices

My wife and I have eaten here many times over the years, probably as far back as the late 90s. We used to take a couple of the grand kids here when they were small. One is now a mother, the other a college junior. I have always found the restaurant and the food to be very good, no complaints. This trip we had a daughter with us and sat at the counter. I enjoy the whimsical décor, and always have. I noticed several orders of their Big Breakfast, the one served in a big garbage can lid, coming out of the kitchen (it would feed a family of four). Good coffee, good food, good company, what else could I ask for. Worth a visit and your review.
