Arrived at around 4:15pm on Weds......no one person in the restaurant but my wife and I. Promptly seated, with a very happy server. Placed our order....I had a Baby Dutch which takes around 15-20 minutes...so we knew the food would take awhile. The server brought our drinks over and asked if we needed anything else. After 15 minutes, the food started coming out, but by a completely different server. Then the rest of the food came out, and that was the LAST time we saw the NEW server...why, because everybody was gossiping, etc., and not paying attention to our table....which was right in front of the window. Finally, I had to get up and ask for a beverage refill...then when I asked for the check, I finally asked where our original server disappeared to....answer..."she decided to leave". Think you better consider rolling out some new management of this place....if the servers and busboys have nothing to do but gossip our text....find something for them to do.

This neighborhood restaurant has a comfortable, friendly, place. It's always filled with locals. The decor is very unexpected and different from the usual. The food is always good and so many varieties. This is the "go to" breakfast place in the neighborhood. We always bring out of town visitors here.

Nestled between the growing downtown Evanston district and illustrious Northwestern University, Lou's in Evanston is a favorite of students and residents alike. This location offers dine in, carryout, and delivery as well as catering services. In the warmer months, outdoor seating is available.
Our first visit to Chicago so we asked around for the best deep dish pizza place. Several people recommended this place to us and they were right. The small size pizza is more than enough for two people, we even took some home with us....MoreThank you for your feedback, Richard! We are happy to hear you were able to stop by during your time in Chicago and you enjoyed your deep dish sausage pizza. We look forward to serving you again soon!

I first came here as part of a group with someone who had specific dietary restrictions. I've been back 3 times since. Love this place! My favorites are the bacon wrapped dates, the grilled calamari, and grilled squid, but I always try something new each time. They also have pitchers of sangria, red or white. If you go on a Saturday night, make a reservation ahead of time.

I was visiting a family in Skokie and they took me here. They were raving about it and deservingly so. I love their baby back ribs, salad and baked potatoes. It ribs literally melts in our mouth. The food here is so delicious and the staff very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The Stained Glass is a pioneer of the Evanston fine dining scene since opening its doors in 1999. Enjoy our New American cuisine.
The waiter was aiming for avuncular crustiness. Instead he came across as impatient in dealing with us and slow in bringing anything. Waiter took half the drink orders and then left because someone was making up their mind. Our food took 90 minutes to come out. The lamb chops were clearly fatty and the salad was bathed in dressing. Finally, got donuts for dessert (another 30 minutes of wait) - should have gone to Krispy Kreme. Sad to see an institution trade on its location rather than food and service

Serving globally inspired menus, Blind Faith is a certified green restaurant transforming the way people enjoy vegetarian cuisine. Just twenty-five minutes from downtown Chicago and only blocks from Northwestern's Evanston campus, our dinning rooms offer a casual warmth perfect for any occasion.
I went to Blind Faith with my two daughters and granddaughter. Two of them are vegetarians. We couldn't decide which menu items to choose. We all chose something different and enjoyed all of them. I can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed a great dinner with another couple with Tons of creative drinks, apps, their evening special, & desserts galore - server Shannon was sassy, knowledgeable & fun :)
The drinks - wow!!! Loved the Tony's Pony like a Moscow Mule, yummy & potent. Others had great Beers (Old Rasputin), Sangrias, Whiskey sour, Cognac, Baileys coffee etc - this place has infinite choices esp Beers. Just made our bill super high - so the caveat is we ordered a lot of food & drinks and it got very expensive for a fun casual place like this although it is a gastropub:
$250 for 4
FOOD:
Apptz - Bacon Dates - yum! Ck Liver Pate - Good... Fries - very good with mayo & ketchup, Hummus - ok
Entrees - Lamb Curry special - Wow, tasty! Crispy Salmon - tasty but could be larger. Fig Flatbread - she loved it.
Desserts - Toffee Pudding yummy, a first for this English treat.
Nutella Butty - wow, the Best item of the night*** Fried brioche with decadent sauce & ice cream - sooooo Good. My Fav, so glad I asked what it was & so glad I did.

Found is a very unique place but in a good way. It is decorated with vintage furniture and art. Even their cocktail glasses are vintage. Atmosphere is great and it is very relaxing. I loved our waitress, which was very friendly and helpful. This restaurant is not cheap but quality of food and drinks is great.
Great place for a date or girlfriends night out.

Edzo's is very popular, but I don't know why. It looks like it hasn't been maintained much since opening in 2006. Burgers and char dog were just ok, brat was lousy. I did enjoy the fries but didn't like the cheese sauce they put on the cheese fries. And it really wasn't that cheap for what you get.
