Dropped in for lunch with my sister who lives locally, never been here before. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful and quite astute. We changed tables after being seated, to get out of the wind and this didn't cause any issues in a full cafe. My sister and I were hungry and looking forward to a delicious lunch. My sister ordered Salt and Pepper Squid ($15.50) consisting of fried strips of squid, a special mix of salt and pepper, a nice salad with sweet chilli sauce and a generous amount of thick cut chips. My sister was unhappy with the Squid which she thought was not cooked properly and was tough and chewy. She still persisted and ate the lot, but she didn't eat all of the salad or the chips, as she said there was too much on the plate. I ordered the Portuguese Chicken Burger ($13.50) consisting of chargrilled, Peri Peri marinated chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo on a Turkish bun, with thick cut chips. I loved the chargrilled chicken and the chips and left an empty plate. I also ate some of my sister's salad which I also liked. My sister drank a mixed juice which tasted quite sour which was served in a jar and I drank a tin of Diet Coke served in a glass with ice. I didn't taste any Peri Peri (lemon, garlic, chilli, paprika, pepper or oregano) flavouring in the chicken, so I would suggest they add some more flavour. The meals are big and generally look great, they just need to focus on flavouring and cooking.

Staff are very friendly, coffee is really good and an assortment of food to choose from. It's Kid/children friendly and a popular place for all ages! It's also a great place if you want to sit, relax and enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, while grabbing a book off the shelf and have a little read. It's a really popular spot in the heart of Umina (West Street). I love popping into this café on the weekend!

On our way home from Gosford, we came across a hidden delight that was almost missed. Located on a corner, one can easily miss this restaurant, as it blends in with the houses.
Being a public holiday, there was a surcharge. But that did not stop ample portions on a lunch special of $9.90 for a main.
Staff are very friendly. From Seating, till food on the table was quick. Food was very rich in flavours, with plenty of chicken and beef in the dishes we ordered.
Would highly recommend when visiting Woy Woy.

Visited Pearls for a birthday lunch and stayed till late afternoon. Always know when you have had a great lunch with friends at a great location when time just drifts away. The service is extraordinarily attentive and friendly. The food is amazing and the selection of dishes and sizes right on the money. If you want an extraordinary experience in a relaxed and friendly environment then this is the place.

Dine In And Take Away
We made a last minute decision to attend the Copperpot, a restaurant that we hadn't been to for a number of years. We had initially stopped frequenting because we believed in had gone downhill. So thought it was about time to give it another chance (I think it has gone through a couple of owners since the last time we were there). We walked in without making a booking. There were only a few full tables but it was late on a Wednesday so I didn't expect any more. As it was late we decided to skip entrees and only order a couple of mains, snacking on some Spicy Papadums (on the house) while we waited. We ordered Ginger Chili Chicken (with the chefs special chili sauce) and Spicey Lamb Punjabi (a chef's recommendation), with Rice and Garlic Naan to accompany. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality. I would certainly order both again but then there were a few other dishes that looked interesting, so maybe a reorder will have to wait. I will be going back that's for sure and will update my experience accordingly accordingly. Service was okay but there could have been a few more smiles. Good value at under $60 with corkage.

Modern cuisine with Asian, Italian and seafood menu, great service, fantastic wines & stunning views
I only discovered this information in conversation with the waitress after the meal but I consider it to be relevant to what this excellent eatery is about. We lunched here on New Years Eve , a Sunday, and the ownership of the restaurant had only changed hands 4 days before. The new owner and head chef had previously been the sous chef and the new front of house staff were his daughters. I'm pretty sure that I can't credit him with the creative and very appetising menu but he certainly cooked it to perfection. We ordered a bottle of NZ Pinot Gris from Otago, a steal at $49, while we studied the menu. I often feel in fine-dining establishments that I would like 2 starters instead of a starter and a main course. This menu makes it easy to do that because instead of starters and mains all dishes can be ordered as large or small and served in the order that you want. However, this did backfire on me because I had the Japanese Scallops as a starter - 4 scallops for $23- and my wife had it for a main course- 8 scallops for $33! You do the maths and always order the large scallops! All the food was quite excellent but for me the stand out dish of the day was my side of pan seared broccoli dressed with sea salt and EVO. Also worthy of special mention was the snapper fillets served dressed with grated ginger. Now who would ever have thought of doing that knowing that it worked perfectly but someone who is a master of tastes, flavours and textures. A wonderful meal.

We celebrated a small family birthday and were seated inside. The acoustics were loud, but at least the party next to us with over twenty people were having a good time. Rather than serve bottles of water, there were an abundance of waiters always topping up glasses - very nice touch. When I raised my hand, the attention of our hosts was immediate. After the sun set the blinds were rolled up and the big glass windows facing the street let in lots of twilight. We could see the diners seated out near Picnic Parade. The smell of passing cars might have been a nuisance, but at least it was quiet out there. We were amazed at the entrees and the mains which were tasty and huge. I had the chicken dopiaza which came with a garnish and we ordered their special garlic cheese naan and saffron rice which was mouth wateringly good. Very happy to go back, but I’d like to ask for a bigger table to put all our drinks and dishes.

Great little place to have a relaxing meal / snack / takeaway. The juice options are unusual and delicious. Even the humble scrambled eggs on sourdough was unreal. We were in the area for 3 days and ate there (breakfast / lunch) once every day. Nice coffee too.

We went there from Killcare because of the good Tripit Reviews. Average is too kind a word to describe the experience. Forget and ignore that rating please.
My wife ordered the Chicken. A very generous half a chicken arrived smothered in a sauce. It was hot on the outside and ice cold inside. Obviously heated up in the microwave. We could not attract the attention of a waitress so she took it to the front desk herself. We observed. Yes, back into the microwave it went. This time it was nuked. Absolutely tasteless and tough. I had the Carbonara pasta. It was very ordinary and the only flavour was that of the excessive quantity of Parmesan cheese that smothered the whole dish. Yuk.
The only way that this food could be rated as highly as it is, is if they got all the family, friends and staff to rate it.
