Bar open at 4pm daily
Had dinner last week and it was very enjoyable. I eat here every time I visit Esperance and over the last five years there have been several changes. The menu is good but the prices are on the expensive side. The restaurant has been extended and it is pretty popular. I recommend you give it a try. It has a set menu price for each course.

We ordered two meals to take away, and I'm sorry to say but we feel rather disappointed! Fish"Red Spot Emperor" (aka fish and chips) was really not good. the fish was rubbery and the chips bland, the tartare sauce was from a bottle, and the serving size was very small ($25, see photo). The other meal was a seafood "Feast" and it was also pretty bad. Eeverything tasted chalky ($39,).Yes, they do takeaway meals but there is a surcharge($5 surcharge for 2 meals), which is a bit silly considering they are saving on wait staff wages. I'm afraid i can't recommend this place for takeaway.

It is great to go to the regional towns and find high quality Chinese food.Service was efficient and friendly and their Ginger Steak and BBQ Combination both hot the spot.
Drinks were very reasonably priced although some of the mains were above average, but well worth it.
You know you are in the country when they don't use chopsticks.

Coffee Cat is a red trailer parked at the Tanker Jetty Headland between 7am and 2pm Monday toFriday
Read so much about this place prior to arriving in Esperance, just had to try it.
We were staying at the Best Western and it was good ten minutes brisk walk along the Promenade to reach it. The walk itself is an enjoyable experience through the meandering path with flaura, fauna and views.
Mid November it was certainly popular, despite it not quite being holiday season.
It is essentially an outdoor coffee cart. Plenty of nearby Seating, or simply grass in good weather, Lovely views and near the old (in need of a repair!) jetty. Kids playground also close by.
Just a nice place to grab a drink and sit and relax for a short while. Good parking virtually next to it in case the walk is too far.
Very definitely a locals favourite judging by the clientele we saw on our two visits. Our third visit was thwarted on a Friday as it was shut for a week for holidays!
No dearer or cheaper than any other coffees you will find locally

The hotel is right on the beach front in Esperance. The bistro was very busy when we were there, service and food were great!
Called in for a meal. I had the bar fish and chips husband had the al la carte fish and chips. Unfortunately I had to scrape off all the oily batter from my piece and ate the fish only, husband tried to eat his but couldn't as both of his large pieces of fish were soaked in oil. The meal sizes were very generous, just inedible, we were both very hungry so hence the "disappointing". However the salad bar was very nice and fresh with a good selection. The dining room was very busy and had a good vibe. When asked if we enjoyed our meal we did point out the problem and were offered another meal or anything to our liking as good will, we accepted a glass of wine didn't want anything else to eat.
The waitress did point out they were trying to get the cook to slow down with his meals and get quality not quantity.
Probably won't eat here again as there are a lot places to eat.

I have to say my experience with food in Esperance before Eljays had been pretty mediocre. But tonight we where pleasantly surprised. I agree with previous comments that this restaurant would be better placed at the front of the building and perhaps some modernisation wouldn't go astray. Somewhere with a view. Apart from that nothing could be faulted. Fresh oysters, perfectly cooked salmon on avocado mash with cherry tomatoes. My husband chose steak medium rare, that was exactly what he got!! He later wished he hadn't chosen a gravy as the steak had enough flavour on its own. The beverage menu had plenty of choices and more than fair prices. Can't say when was the last time ordered desert but when I read "banana crepe with rum sauce and macadamia ice cream" who could resist? (now your mouth is watering. ) it was just amazing. Totally recommend Eljays. Staff are so friendly, attentive and efficient. Meals are of a good potion and Beautifully presented. Thank you Eljays. We will be back and most definitely recommend to all.

After a day of exploring why not enjoy a relaxing drink in our cocktail bar with floor to ceiling windows offering excellent water views of the port and bay looking out to Frenchman's Point. Often you may be delightfully surprised to see dolphins frolicking in the bay and on occasion even a whale! At Seasons Restaurant, the refined atmosphere, the attentive yet unobtrusive service and superb cuisine are sure to make a memorable dining experience. Our Seasons Restaurant offers a fully licensed a La Carte menu, boasting high quality fresh food at affordable prices, something to please every palate. With our daily specials and a children's menu for children 12 years and under, we're sure you'll enjoy your dining experience at Seasons. Along with soft drinks, coffee and tea, we also offer an extensive wine list and a range of alcoholic beverages including cocktails.
Pleasantly surprised how nice the setting was and friendly staff and a very nice meal. Sometimes you wonder about motor inn restaurants but this one is fine. Fresh oysters, main course of blue eye cod, both grilled and battered was delicious. Would recommend .

The food has a healthy options focus, smoothies, all sorts of tea,the takeaway lunch boxes looked fabulous interesting, probably very tasty and healthy. She had scrambled, as always, bacon and 2 great hash browns. I had a Paleo big breakfast - tasty fresh and huge. No they won't do half serves nor can you have a brown box to take the other half away! Lucky I had a plastic bag with me. If a bit pricey the food is great. Sadly the coffee is dreadful. Give it a miss and go to theCoffee Cat for great coffee and friendly service, both missing at Ollies.

s'juice happily provides you with Freshly Squeezed Fruit and Veg Juices and a huge choice of Smoothies all year round, with healthy Vegetarian Soups and Paninis during winter. We also have snacks such as Bircher Muesli,Popcorn with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Rock Salt and homemade Healthy Icy Poles
Only been here a couple of times but it is without a doubt the best juice place in Esperance. Have just done a tour and visited several juice places in NSW and this would be the best juice I have had encountered. Very friendly and trying very hard to please customers.
