Tuesday night meeting delayed, we found ourselves with time for dinner. Most local venues were closed. Wandered into this place with no knowledge or confidence and concerned to see only one table occupied. However it was bright and clean, service was quick and friendly and menu was inviting. Preparation of meals took longer than it should have, but this was blamed on electronic communications to kitchen failing. During the wait other patrons arrived and soon the place was almost full. Food arrived and was excellent. Obviously locals who arrived after us knew what we did not. Grat place to eat..

Rang restaurant several days before and left a message about booking a table for 5 friends. I received no reply or confirmation. Two days later on arrival I overheard people who were arriving that they had a table booking. Interesting. On sitting down at a vacant table which would accommodate 5 people I waited with a friend for 10 minutes then four unknown people just came and sat with us. No asking whether we were waiting for other people or not. How rude. Moving to another table a waiter came over asked how many were we waiting for and brought additional menu's. Once our friends arrived and sat down at a rectangular table it was very difficult to hear our friend talking fro the other side of the table. In other words the noise level of this place was very loud in fact overbearing and frustrating. I would say this has been a common problem for many years and it has not been fixed. Acoustic material needs to be added so the noise level goes down and you can actually hear what people have to say. The coffee ordered did not taste fresh in fact my friend next to me ordered a long black which came with cremea... so how fresh is that? Our meals were ordered and all were on the small side. At on stage we were delivered the wrong meals and another time the wrong coffee's were delivered. Overall this was very disappointing and will not be going back again. Sad because when the place opened many years ago the food and coffee were excellent.

clean modern and busy which is a good sign, a couple of outdoor tables as well, licensed multiple beer/ wine list which was sufficient. slim tall blonde waitress friendly and non pushy - shout out to her well done. we filled up on toasted Turkish bread and trio dips, followed by big chicken parma avocado, chicken parma fungi both with mash and veg and side of chips. good size, creamy white sauce- a lot. we could not finish so took home left overs. Good place when you are hungry. Like the other reviews I give it a thumbs up and will return when I am in Epping.

Gorgeous cafe in the middle of Mill Park. A hidden little gem. Great food, great service, reasonably priced, & it has great atmosphere. I'm not a local but if I was I would make it my local little hangout. And yes, the vanilla slices are just mouthwatering, so creamy. I would highly recommend Jahdomes, you will not be disappointed. If you are in the area, pop in for a coffee & whatever takes your fancy, you will not be disappointed. The decor is just lovely. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Okay, straight out you aren't going to get that authentic Chinese feel that you would get in say Chinatown or some of the other places in Melbourne, but this is one of those good old Chinese Restaurants that have been around for decades and cater to the good old Aussie craving for Asian fusion. I've been here a couple of times and I have to say that they do make some pretty good dishes. It's one of those places I go to for that Chinese craving I get every so often. Mind you, it is strictly BYO, so make sure you stock up with alcohol if that is what you want to indulge in. However, they don't charge for corkage, which is pretty cool. It's probably not the type of place to go out of your way to visit but certainly a place to check out of you are in the area.

BEST fish and chips in the area, touch pricy but the food is excellent 99% of the time.
very busy as shown but the 8+ staff they have minimum.
$9 for a piece of flake is a bit high but it is excellent tasting and fresh.

Restaurant nice, good feel, waitress very good. We have visited this place before and its been good however the last 2 visits food horrible, my husband had parmigiana it was dry and had no flavour, I ordered fish of the day, it was served with rocket and cous cous, well I picked the dory off and ate that, no dressing-sauce nothing cous cous had absolutely NO flavour I did not eat it. Nobody asked me why I didnt eat it I think they have lost themselves a couple of customers.

Went here on my birthday, with family. They have the most beautiful cake stand. Staff was kind enough to put their own candles on the cake. Food was amazing. We had paneer butter masala, malai kofta, punjabi chicken curry, beef rogan josh, butter naan, garlic naan, saffron rice and mango lassi. Oh my god wow! Every single dish was beautifully done. Staff and ambience are both elegant. This is my new favourite restaurant.
