The Old Post Office Restaurant has one of the best fish boils in Door County. Their staff is friendly and informative, explaining the art of a roaring fire and a great fish boil. Come early to watch the process and then walk across the street afterwards to enjoy the sunset.

Truth be told, I haven't been here in years but everyone tells me it is still a great place for an icecream cone. The view of lovely Ephraim, etc., is worth whatever they charge. enjoy!

Went up for a quick visit to Door County and of course had to stop at Wild Tomato. Got their Sausage Pesto pizza and sat so we could see the stone oven. We can never save enough for a doggie bag it is so good. I would give this place a 5 every time if it wasn’t for the fact I wish they took reservations and their bathrooms Nees a fix up. Otherwise, outstanding!!

Not Licked Yet Frozen Custard has world famous frozen custard treats along with a huge variety of sandwiches, salads, and greaseless french fries we have inside and outside dining very family friendly with a giant playground mama and papa approved. The waterway called Fish Creek meanders thru our property open 7 days a week 11:00 - 11:00
What better place to stop for a snack after a hike in Pennisula State Park which is pretty much right next door. The custards and sundaes are quite tasty and service is always friendly.
They have unique sundaes and flavor combinations that may sound weird, but surprisingly work. On my latest stop I had the Mr. Potato Head Sundae which consists of Vinnila Frozen Custard topped with peanut butter caramel sauce, whipped cream and potato chips. Yup, sounds kind off odd, but it was delicious.
Priced at $6.60, I would not get this everyday, but for a once a year treat it's worth it.

This is a popular coffee shop that also serves cinnamon rolls and pastries.
This place has been around for 25 years and it's sitll a hit, when I bring someone there. Great coffee with fantastic atmosphere, inside and out. Small tables outside when it''s warm and tables inside for the rain and snow. It's open all year and they got great pastries, my favorite, the morning bun.
I wouldn't go anywhere else for my coffee. It's a warm and cozy little log cabin with alot of ambience.

Don and Jean Thompson welcome you to their Door County Bakery. Located just south of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, we're more than a bakery...much more. The Door County Bakery is the home of the famous Corsica Loaf™. It’s a one-of-a-kind bread found only at the Door County Bakery. The Door County Bakery is also the place to enjoy breakfast and lunch.
We stopped in here to get some treats when we were in the area and we love the breadsticks with sesame seeds. But wow are there prices high. $30 for a pie? And 10.79 a pound for breadsticks? It will be a treat if we stop in here again for a bit.

I remember when this building was a clothing store. But now it's a cute restaurant with short order entrees. If you are looking for a quick sand which, good cup of coffee or some hot soup, this is the place for you. You simply order at the counter, find a table, and they'll bring your order out to you. The only thing is that when you pay with a credit card you have to select a 15%, 20%, or 25% tip box on the screen. I'm not happy about that cause I like to tip according to my final evaluation of the food and service?

Farmstead Cheesery and Eatery. We make cheese and gelato right here at the store from our farms milk. Here you are able to sample and watch how all our handmade farmstead products are made. Artisan Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, Cheeses, Meats, Beers, Cheese & Wine Pairings and anything you might want for a picnic we can help you assemble. Come pet our baby goats and spend the afternoon on our sunny patio.
This is a must stop when traveling Door County in Sister Bay. It has a selective menu but don't let that stop you. It is perfect for lunch and has a good selection of wines. However it is my favorite place to stop and sample fresh soft and hard goat cheese. The chèvre is the best I have ever tasted. I prefer the plain but it comes in a variety of flavors. I make a special trip to load up for home. If you can't make the trip to the Door they have a web site you can order from, but when the goats stop milking your going to be out of luck. Tasting is believing and believe me it is the best just say'n...

What a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights in Door County. This is our 3rd time we have participated in the mid- winter package. It never disappoints. We stayed in Stowaway which is a quaint cottage located just behind the Inn. Two...MoreWhat a wonderful review! We love hearing how much you enjoyed your visit and are glad you took advantage of the Winter Package. We hope you’ll come back to visit us in Fish Creek again soon!

This was a "must" on our Door County visit every time but after our last meals, we are re-evaluating that decision. My Blackened Shrimp over Grits was so piled on with "stuff", that it was trying to be something else than what I experienced a few years ago here and loved! The same was for hubby's pork dish - sauce was so thick and too many flavors all over the place like it was just dumped on to look like a complex dish, very disappointing. Maybe the "small plate" or tapas night might be the way to go for us next time as we have so enjoyed the atmosphere and service here.
