I don't know what problems they had that day, but we ordered blizzards and if you even tried to turn the finished product upside down...it would have left the cup. We have never eaten a mostly melted blizzard before. No, they had not been sitting around and then given to us, they were freshly made. We enjoyed them anyway, but will try a different Dairy Queen when we need a Blizzard fix.

Favorite of the locals also get customers of Hwy 19. Breakfast all day specials all the time comfort food.
This restaurant is a real gem!
I had the lunch special choice of chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, cream gravy, made from scratch fresh roll, Mac n' cheese and a salad with iced tea for $8.12 including tax! Everything tasted great and I definitely had leftovers!
When I drive from Missouri to Austin, Texas I am always going to take Hwy 19- the route that leads me here!
Highly recommend!!

My husband and I find ourselves @ Texas Street about once a week! Their salsa is fantastic! My husband enjoys the fajita burrito and I find myself ordering the #9 (enchilada and tamale combo) over and over again! The food is made to order - a rare find in our small town. There are 4 tex-mex restaurant's in Emory, we always choose Texas Street, it is the best!

I've been to a few DQ's in Texas and passed by a lot while driving. The DQ in Emory is one of the best decorated and laid out I've seen. The interior and exterior seem to be regularly updated. I always order out and the food is always good.

Enjoyed the food and the service was so friendly and helpful. Décor is not much but the food is great. We will definitely come back again. Chalupas were great and the sour cream chicken enchiladas were very good too. Love the chips and hot sauce--about the best chips ever!!

We stopped in here Friday afternoon about 5 P.M.
Seated rather quickly and drinks were there just as fast
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The cashier was no so fun
Rather a little on the who cares sidet
She ask how everything was .I told her and it was a Humph
No sorry we will look into it or do try us again .Nothing just a Humph
Again BBQ and sauce is really an indivdual taste
What one person like another won't
The three of us ordered a two meat plate with sliced brisket and susage
the difference is wife had poatato salad and pinto beans, I had potato salad and fried squash, and grandson had cole slaw and fries
The plate came two meats and two sides your choice and help yourself to the salad bar .For that they give you a decent size plate and not small saucer
Salad bar was well furnished
Meat was really good just not enough sliced beef for the price 3 or 4 thin cut pieces and maybe 4 inches long more suasage but still lacking overall
BBQ sauce I had a like dislike to it just could not decide, wife did not care for it at all grandson was an ok. It was really thin poured like water
We both agree Potato salad really good Squash really good and Pinto beans she liked
I felt to much chili powder (not a fan of anything more than saltpork)
Grandson and wife thought cole slaw was a little rough not sweet enough (sour taste)
WIth drinks we walked out spending 50.00
We would eat there again but may not do the plates
Looks like a sandwich would be a better deal

Best Certified Angus Burgers in East Texas. Serving Lunch 7 days a week and Dinner Friday and Saturday. Gourmet Burgers, Tex Mex Burgers, Signature Sandwiches. Superior in Quality food ingredients. Always fresh and delicious
We went here for lunch and ordered two burgers, two fries and two drinks. With the tip, the meal was almost $30. The burger was running juice down my arm and my bread was as soggy as a sponge. The meat in the middle of the burger was pink. I ate about 1/3 of the burger before I finally quit. Disgusting.

Two months . . It took us two months to find a really great Mexican food restaurant in Texas. Quality and value - outstanding. Great staff, huge portions and very clean and tidy store. We'll definitely be back. Take out was hot and delicious. We'll be comparing the rest of our mexican dinners to Gorditas for the rest of our trip.

My friends meet and eat breakfast at Don's. The food is good and reasonably priced. Waitresses are great! Reasonable prices, too. A very clean restaurant.

SHUT MY MOUTH! The bacon cheeseburger I had was AWESOME!!! I love a good ole Cheeseburger where there might be a little grease on the buns and the cheese a truly melted!! My BIL had a big ole chicken fry and homemade sides, he ate it all!
If you are looking for HOMECOOKIN, stop here! When we are traveling I love to stop where the locals eat. This place was packed! I will stop here again when I'm passing through!
