Dropped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Nice food variety offered for mid-day, but decided to go with the featured signature house burger with its interesting, yum/yum toppings. Boy, what a great and filling choice! My selected side choice was the corn chowder, which I highly recommend. I'll be back for these winners!

I love Greek food and have eaten at restaurants all over and this is the best! The gyro meat is super tasty and the chicken mediterranean wrap is so delicious. A must stop when I am in Burlington.

Stopped in for desert today and this was a great surprise. The donuts were huge and the cinnamon rolls were huge. The neat thing is they fill your donut when you order it. That's so cool, the prices were good and the service was quick.

Saint Jacques restaurant at the historical Burke Manor Inn, located in the picturesque railway town of Gibsonville serves dinner Thursday through Saturday. Enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah then convene to the intimate dining room where a classic fine dining French meal will be offered. The owners of the Inn, Lil & Lori, previously owned Saint Jacques French Cuisine in Raleigh, which had been voted one of the top 100 restaurants in the US by OpenTable diners under their ownership from 2009-2014. They have brought those same standards they had applied in Raleigh for 10 years to the Inn.
Let me first state that the grounds are beautiful and everyone we encountered while dining here was so nice. The dining area is quaint. The food was good, just not exceptional.

I love stopping at little ice cream shops in all the towns to which I travel. Smitty's is right next to Elon University so it probably gets a good crowd from them. It also has a pizza parlor attached to it. Ice cream was good... my daughter and I shared a cup with two different flavors because it is much more cost effective. I'd recommend making a trip to Smitty's if you are in the area.

This is a campus-based location with very limited hours. Food and drinks are tasty, prices run a little high and the staff work space is very tight, which sometimes makes service slow.

This is a family owned restaurant with the best Italian food around!!! We eat there weekly and wish we could every day! It's AUTHENTIC ITALIAN in a clean quality location. A quaint family atmosphere and wonderful, friendly staff! If you are in Alamance County and near by Gibsonville, don't miss the opportunity to have a meal you won't forget! Restaurant DescriptionWelcome to Little Italy Pizza & Italian Restaurant. Located conveniently off of I-40 in University Commons Shopping Center, this family friendly restaurant is your place for authentic Italian cuisine.Head Chef/Owner Gino Carannante and his wife Lisa's passion for good food inspired the opening of Little Italy Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Burlington in 2007. In his home country of Italy, the art of cooking is a tradition. In fact, Gino's first cooking lessons were times spent as a kid observing his mother while she busily prepared food in the kitchen for the family. It was the same philosophy and long standing appreciation for technique and flavor that he puts into each dish they serve. We are very well known for the superior quality of our pizza, calzones and strombolis. We also serve a variety of subs and Philly cheese steaks. But, our customers also love our homemade lasagna, chicken parmesan and fettuccini Alfredo. At Little Italy, we make sure that each customer feels at home, just like family! This sense of family is what distinguishes us from other business in our area. Our restaurant is one of the few family owned and operated Italian restaurants in Burlington, not to mention by a true Italian chef.
Not being familiar with the area, stumbled upon this family run restaurant. Service was very friendly. Typical Italian restaurant offerings-good pizza and salads. Veal entree was a bit tough. Really enjoyed the bread dipped in oil--very yummy. When bill arrived, there were no prices-the waitress directed us to pay up front where the gentleman seemed to have all the menu prices memorized. Good value. We will definitely be back if return to the area.

Thoughtfully created, flavorful, scratch made food and drink
Love authentic and flavorful Mexican American food. Combinations were unique and creative and several gluten free options. Eatery was cute with a cozy ambiance. It was laid back, and I can see why anyone in college would frequent it. Inexpensive compared to what you get, and several options for a small or large appetite. This is a must stop.

Thanks to TripAdvisor reviews, we stopped by Pregos for lunch, while on a road trip (five minutes off of I-85, exit 141/Huffman Mill Rd). Pregos offers many of the Italian staples--pastas, a variety of parmigiana dishes, salads, etc. (no pizza). Our lunch was delicious, the setting is lovely (white tablecloth) wait staff was delightful. Thanks to TripAdvisor, we've found a popular restaurant frequented by locals and look forward to returning!
