We are privileged to have some of the best farmers on the eastside of Washington State, including some of the best wines and microbrews. To insure quality and freshness we work with local seasonal ingredients, we focus on baking all our bread daily, cutting our own meats and using only the freshest ingredients.
We had high expectations when coming to the Yellow Church Cafe. We arrived at 5:45pm on 2/3/18. We were seated at the back table that was 6 steps from the rear exit so a bit chilly. Waiter came and took our drink order. We each ordered an appetizer and a beer and glass of wine. (Not a good wine list at all) About 1/2 later it was delivered. We then place our order for dinner. After an hour, no food was brought. We were talking with our neighbors and it was them who flagged our waiter down and asked what was up. They had such good food and we were receiving such bad service. Nice folks. My husband called him over and said we were done and we would be leaving. He put blame on the kitchen but never an apology. He offered us another round of drinks. We declined. But he was more then happy to give us our bill for what we did eat and drink again with no apology.

Ellensburg's family restaurant serving hand crafted burger, great steaks, fantastic kids meals & we offer a full bar with lots of TV's.
Fish n’ Chips were great and meal was hot. Service in the bar was rookie. Only one visit for a drink refill and it was after we were done eating! Not cool in a bar that was slow. I get it, every place will have...MoreThank you for the review and the feedback. Really glad you enjoyed our hand breaded Alaskan cod fish and chips. We will use the feedback on the service to improve and look forward to you visiting again. Thank you - Jim

We are located on Main Street in Ellensburg beside Sunrise Dental and across the street from West Side Pizza. We fashion our sandwiches from our fresh baked breads, high quality meats and cheeses from our deli case and fresh produce. All of our soups and salads are made from scratch, just like grandma, and we have a wide variety of hard to find, old fashion and wholesome bulk foods.
Passing through on our way out of Washington. What a delightful lunch spot! We split a Turkey sandwich on homemade whole wheat bread and a Harvest salad. Yum. Raw milk available for sale and many other homemade snacks and cooking supplies.Thank you for your review and hope you can stop again. Happy traveling.

Good solid menu with many selections plus right in the heart of downtown. Usually best parking down side street.

First visit and found it much better than expected. I normally do not like thin crust oven fire roasted pizza, but this was really good. I had the FireHouse – (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, KC-style bacon, Italian sausage, Spanish chorizo, and chili flakes *spicy*) It was really good and not that spicy really, just a bit of tang. Staff were friendly, the place can get very busy on weekends.

Stopped in for shakes and snacks on our way out of town. Shakes were amazing fries and tots were also good. Will definitely be back to try the burgers and onion rings

I know there's nothing special about Perkins, but I do think it's better than competitors Denny's or Shari's, and WAY better than IHOP. The Ellensburg location has a great breakfast, and if I'm too late for breakfast I'll still swing by for muffins.
