The tortilla soup is DELICIOUS, and the variety is a welcome change from pupusas after pupusas. The menu is super varied and you can easily be full here for under $5- great value.Dear Hanna Mendoza, I am happy you enjoyed the tortilla soup! Please come back anytime. It was an honor for us to serve you. Feel free to bring friends. Sincerely, Martin Machado, Restuarant Owner

It is located just in front of a very nice beach, waves are really nice for Surfing if you're into it. The place is well kept, and the prices are not exaggerated. They now serve a very nice breakfast, which I recommend, as you can have it, then leave your stuff and go to the beach for as long as you want too.
Very relaxing atmosphere. My only complain is that they don't have a small pool inside for the kids. Try the shrimp.

Somos un restaurante que ha sido concebido para cumplir con las más altas normas de comodidad, servicio, seguridad y privacidad para nuestros clientes.
The food was very average at this place for the price. The beer selection is good though and the view is nice but you can’t actually see the sunset from here. The pasta was horrible and had no sauce on it tasted like fishy seafood only. The pizza was average, better food in el Tunco.

What an awesome restaurant with a beautiful view!
We were in El Salvador on business and our vendor brought us here for dinner. While we had been to the Beto's in Santa Tecla, this location is outstanding. Situated on the beach front cliff, the view is absolutely spectacular. We arrived in time to watch the sunset and relax over some appetizers and drinks. We had enough appetizers that we all ended up getting small entrees or splitting entrees. There was a lot to eat ... all of it excellent.
The other reviews cover the food and view pretty well so let me point out one item for those of you who might be staying in Santa Tecla or the San Salvador metro-area: The drive is long (about 45-60 minutes) and winding. If you're prone to motion sickness be advised...There were fourteen of us packed into a full-sized van and just about all of us were either dizzy, nauseated, or had a headache by the time we stopped. It was the un-fun version of Mr Toad's Wild Ride.
That said, I am sincerely glad we made the trek. This is a spectacular view-restaurant with food that is equally impressive.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have been in Central America! The scene is awesome, the ocean pool is breathtaking, waves hit the pool wall and splashes all over. Simply amazing! The big problem is that they changed the concept of the place and is too crowded... Feels like being in the market downstreet. Packed with bunches of people! Try going on between tuesday-thursday. 3.5~4 stars because the place is awesome!

The service was prompt and friendly, the prices were reasonable (at least for a tourist - I am sure they are high by El Salvador local standards), and the seafood was fresh and prepared very nicely. My wife had the mixed seafood ceviche and I had the grilled shrimp. Both were delicious, and the portions were generous without being grotesque. The Salvadoran beer is fairly light, but it goes well with sun and sea. The strolling mariachi band seemed talented, though I am certainly no expert in that type of music. Pretty overt security presence; seemed like the place is frequented by tourists and well off local residents. Not a place to mix and mingle with the common man, which is either a plus or a minus depending on the experience you are seeking.

This is a bar and restaurant that can get lively Friday and Saturday night. The Saturday I was there there was some live music. I got a burger, at $6 slightly pricey but very tasty and the chips were great as well.

Coyote is a restaurant that really cares about quality, we strive to serve fresh food, like homemade food. Our specialty are the breakfasts, paninis, pastas, burgers and pizzas, but also you can find very fresh salads, burritos and main dishes: Fish Fillet, Chicken Breast BBQ, Beef, Garlic Shrimps and more delicious food. You can come either with your family or friends. "We have the coldest beer of El Tunco Beach"
Considering how cheap you can get local food in El Salvador this was more at the higher end of our meal spends (however it is still reasonably priced) There was 4 people in our group eating - all of whom had nothing overwhelming to say about the meals. The burger was good but nothing special and the pizza was also the same. I was weighing up whether to order a pasta and I wish I had. The daiquiris were tasty and ok at $4. My biggest issue is the 10% enforced tip, whilst I generally do tip I always believe it should be the customers choice as the service wasn't exactly outstanding....

The sushi was surprisingly excellent at this little restaurant bar! Delicious and fresh. The karrot role was my favorite. Good veggie options too. The sake shots were good too. But the mosquitos were terrible here because it’s in the pond/riverside. I never noticed any mosquitos in el Tunco except for here. And the music was so loud. Prices were ok same as I’d pay for sushi at home but worth it!
