For an alternative Texas experience, consider El Paso. Located far from the bright lights of Dallas or San Antonio, in the state's western corner along the sparkling shores of the Rio Grande, El Paso boasts a different feel than its eastern counterparts. A true melting pot of American and Mexican culture, the combination is noticeable everywhere. Visit the El Paso Museum of Art and see American works from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as Mexican colonial art and retablos from the 1700s and 1800s. Restaurants serve authentic Mexican cuisine, Texas barbecue or a little of both. While this fusion of cultures draws some, the rock climbers who descend on El Paso have only one thing in mind: scaling the massive boulders of Hueco Tanks State Park. Those who prefer the ground can wander through the park's interpretive center and see ancient Indian pictographs. Other popular El Paso pastimes include golf, mountain biking and our personal favorite, stargazing.

You can always count on good food all the time when you are here. The chicken enchiladas are outstanding. The service, the atmosphere, the prices and the food are on target. A long-standing establishment, next to the cemetery, also serves excellent fajitas, flautas and burritos. A must "go to" place when I visit friends and family in El Paso.

My favorite Greek food restaurant in El Paso. Service, quality, price and portion sizes are noteworthy.

We visited Julio’s shortly after arrival to El Paso. It was an off time of about 3pm during the week day with very few patrons however the service was still quite slow. Had the tortilla soup and chicken tacos which were both well worth the wait. High quality fresh ingredients with authentic taste definitely makes Julio’s a must visit for Mexican food in a city where Mexican food is already raised to exceptionally high standards. We were a group of 6 all enjoying different selections with large portions. Our server even gave us an order of dessert Sopaipillas on the house for our patience during the long wait. Would definitely return if visiting El Paso.

Independent & Family-Owned Pub featuring 70 taps of independent beer, vast spirits selection, cocktails, cigars, and a scratch kitchen. Enjoy out on our beer garden.
I really like that they have specialty burgers It changes things up. And don’t forget that amazing bar and beer selection. I wish the wait staff was more knowledgeable about their beers. Kind of like that guy who recommends wine. That would be a unique touch to the place. And ordering the fries is a must!! The space in side is loud so don’t go there to conduct business. It’s one of the few places where you can smoke outside. It’s a great place to socialize.

Bar-B-Q was added to the operation in 1989, and Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q has been serving up tasty food ever since. The same original recipes that built Rudy's Leon Springs' reputation are now available throughout the Southwest.
Don't be fooled by the gas station convenient store! This place is outstanding! A bare bones barbecue place. You walk in, select your bottles drinks including beer, select your various sides from the refrigerator which come in different size containers. Tell the cashiers which meats you want and the size ...anywhere from 1/4 pound up. They line a bread crate with white deli paper then put your meat selection on top. If you didn't want bottled drinks, you can get fountain drinks and refills are free. The Turkey is superbly moist, the jalapeño sausage has a tinge of hotness to it, the brisket is very moist and flavorful. Actually, every piece of meat they cook is so full of flavor. Their 3 bean salad is great as is their Cole slaw.
We’ve also eaten, several times I may add, their breakfast burritos! So yummy! Do eat here if you happen to be in El Paso!

I always say I will try something different at Kiki's, but I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that makes Chicken Enchiladas with green sauce like Kiki's. They use shredded chicken, fresh, not out of a can. The green sauce is more like Chili Con Queso ~ not too spicy, just the right amount. It is the best. The place is close to Fort Bliss and this is a favorite spot of the soldiers. So it is best to go before the lunch rush begins, or wait until it is over. The chips and salsa are great. The service can be a bit slow if you are there at the height of the lunch rush, we are retired, so that doesn't affect us much.

A really tasty dinner in a fun environment! We had several different menu items and all were well prepared and delivered hot and fresh and served by friendly staff! Music is a little loud, but you can still
have pleasant conversation and the music really makes it feel festive!

We have eaten here a minimum of 10 times while living here. We’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner. When our children visit, they always ask to eat here. We have not yet been disappointed. We frequent the Cincinnati location followed by the Resler location. Every dish we’ve ordered has been fresh, savory and decent portions. The waiters and waitresses have always gone above and beyond in customer service. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Crave for a great meal!

We were in the Union Square area and asked for a lunch recommendation from the nice folks at Rocket Buster Boots. Glad we followed their advice. Eclectic menu with lots of tasty tapas beautifully prepared and presented. We tried the bacon dates, beet salad, duck with chimichurri to die for, gnocchi and paella. We ordered one dish too many but savored every one of them. We sat at bar and enjoyed watching the friendly chef at work. Service was great and cocktails inventive. Highly recommend!

I have been here numerous times and have enjoyed the food. This latest trip left me somewhat disappointed though. The service was excellent as usual, but the food lacked some spice and flavor to it. The brisket and chicken were somewhat bland tasting, which surprised me. I hope this was one of their off days but we will have to wait and see!
