I go there every time i visit Echternach and i can only say that it is an excelent place to spend a sunny afternoon.
They have some local dishes which you can either eat outdoors on their lovely Terrace or indoors in the case of bad weather. All in all i can only recommend the "Laange Veit"

We attended a special dinner event here. We had six courses and everyone of them was of an extremely high standard and served efficiently. We have decided to go back there for another meal in the very near future and will highly recommend it to friends. The staff were very busy but did not give the impression that they were under any pressure. They remained friendly throughout. The Saint-Jacques poêlées, risottoe aux truffes et poireaux was amazing.

The steak wasn't cooked as ordered. The meat wasn't really tasty. Probably not well aged. The steak got its taste from the the delicious garlic butter. The Brussels sprouts and the carrots that came with the dish were excellent.
The wine that was recommended was more expensive than the wine I had picked and my wife and I were not wowed for €59.--
My favorite remains Grimougi in Echternach.

I've had Risotto Tarutufo and it was good, but not amazing at all.. it had some excess olive oil at the end of the plate that was not pleasant.
Service was ok, but once again, not amazing. While there were free tables, with much better view, and already ready, I was seated in a table that had nothing on it, near a pillar.
No one bothered to ask if everything was ok, if I needed something, etc.
At the end there was a mistake on what was server, and not even an excuse. They just presented the check because the waiter had to leave.
I'm not returning for sure.

The restaurant is located next to the main road close to the bridge close to the German border with a lovely Terrace and a relaxed atmosphere.
The staff was friendly and fast. After ordering we received a complementary starter (see pic 1) this started was lovely and fresh, it was perfect for the weather.
My main course was really nice; the meat was nicely cooked; I may have wanted it to be a bit more rare but it was delicious. The sauce that came with it was really Moorish; and the side veggies were fresh and vibrant; as was the Gratin that came with it.
My friend had the vegan veggies with peanut sauce; and said it was great.
The desert was a real treat; beautiful presentation as well as great cinnamon ice cream and fantastic bowl of fresh fruit that came with it.
I highly recommend everyone that visits Echternach to dine here. Really fantastic.

Returned to this fine restaurant for valentines this year. A fixed menu that was really special and included ravioli foie gras with a truffle oil sauce with the ravioli in a heart shape - simply delicious. Chef Philippe Boulliat never fails to deliver dishes that take your breath away. The scallops in two styles (carpaccio and fried) with grapefruit dressing was a fantastic mix of warm and cold. The main course of Iberian pork and a chocolate cake dessert completed a simply great meal and evening. As always the atmosphere was friendly and the decor refined with the pace of the service, perfection. At 72€ per head truly outstanding value - our thanks for a great valentines evening.

We come here on lunch after some hours of hiking. We were a bit tired, but first of all, we were hungry. We ordered a pizza and spaghetti and both were very tasty. The staff was very friendly, the prices are convenient and the atmosphere on the open-air was super.

Food was good, service was very friendly. The outside tables are on a sloped cobbled pavement which some people may find uncomfortable but I found it charming. Reasonably priced.

Amazing service, amazing food.
Bacalhau (morue) carpaccio as a starter - and the flavours oh so well combined, with capers and grapefruit - followed by filet mignon with pata negra.
range of prices: 10-15 starters; 19-30 mains
Super friendly service, and what a view over the valley!
obrigada!

My wife & I found this Chinese restaurant by chance whilst walking around Echternach & were very pleased we had chosen it. The interior was very well fitted out & the service friendly & attentive. We shared sweet & sour chicken & beef chow main which were both of a very high standard. The atmosphere was slightly marred as we there were only two other patrons at the time of our visit but we would highly recommend it to anyone.
