The food at Bangkok Thai is absolutely wonderful, and so is the service. My wife and I have frequented this restaurant for more than twenty years, and, while it has changed management over the years, the owner's have always been so friendly and accommodating. They've always come to know us by name and treat us like family. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food is both delicious and very nicely presented. The value is quite good given the time, effort, expertise, and ingredients required to make authentic Thai food. (As a side note, I quite appreciate that this restaurant offers brown rice as well as white rice.) I highly recommend Bangkok Thai if you are comfortable with a little spice and enjoy Thai food.

We were 9 people (with reservations) lunching on a Thursday. Service was fast and efficient, food was hot. I chose the provimi liver + sautéed onions which was reasonably tender (just had dental surgery & needed soft food), mashed potatoes were drowned in gravy (had I known, would have asked for less gravy or gravy on the side). Veggies for everyone appeared to be the ubiquitous peas/carrots which were cooked appropriately. My apologies to Crow"s Nest but to me, the potatoes tasted as if they were reconstituted.
Shared a very chocolatey cake- very rich and decadent. The House white (pino grigio) was easy drinking. The 4 * was due to the service, I would rate the food as 3*.

We ordered by phone, and everything seemed good to go until we went to pick up the order. We were missing an item, so the cashier started to debate as to whether we really ordered it. They didn't charge us for the item, but we felt sure we had ordered it. We agreed to disagree and then reordered the item, though all our other food was sitting there getting cold. Then we find out there was another miscommunication regarding our second ordering of this same item, 10 minutes later they had not started to cook the food yet. Cook started to complain to the counter help, and again it was the "blame game". Finally we decided to leave without the extra part of our order. Bottom line, the food is still delicious, but customer service and their communication skills need some attention. I can't say that we were left hungry because of our missed item, it turned out there was more then enough to satisfy us, so bottom line we saved money.

Fantastic all around! Food was wonderful, the margaritas spectacular. So many options on the drink menu! Unfortunately we did not have enough room for churros but I heard the next table rave about them. Roberto was our server and he did a great job. Attentive but not overwhelming. Will be back!

Mouth watering, home cooked food. Casual atmosphere. Great variety of wine, beer, scotch and spirits. Friendly, attentive service. Delectable selection of beef, lamb, vegetarian, seafood and chicken dishes with a sprinkle of Thai specialties.
A small, quaint, diamond in the ruff!! Well not so much ruff at all, but this places is definitely a diamond! I've had wonderful service coming in for breakfast or dinner, the owner/chef takes great pride in his cooking and it shows! My favourite dish, the butternut squash ravioli is heaven. So glad we found this place because we are surely becoming regulars.

Traditional, authentic italian dry goods, cured meats, and pickled imports (pasta, bread sticks, olives, soppressata) fantastic hot table with veal, pizza, arancini etc. I always by my pizza dough there too. Even sit down for an espresso. Perfect little spot with a bit of everything italian.
