Great space in an emerging section of Durham. Went before 6, and minutes later the crowds formed. All seats have a view of prep areas and amazing pizza oven. Pizzas were great, with cool toppings (loved the Brussels) with appropriate crispy, blackened bottom. Not the best I have ever had (still, New Haven) but excellent. Good selections of wine and beer.

We had carnitas $11, Camarones $13,and costilla $14. Very delicious and reasonably priced. Clean and open air both inside and out. Seating ranges from picnic tables outside to private party tables inside. Food great and affordable. Luis was a very accomodating waiter. No complaints but several kudos.

Our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised.
The service was prompt and efficient, the food was wonderful.
The complimentary breads were truly outstanding.
My Lady had the chicken special, I had the monkfish.
Topped off by a terrific cheesecake, it was a fine evening.
And again, no kids!

I took a large neighborhood dining out group there for dinner a few weeks ago (about 14). Thought they did a great job of taking our orders and serving everyone's food in a timely manner.
The server was well-versed on the menu and was able to answer quickly and with detail anyone's questions on the menu. I liked their wine list as well.
Dinner was really fantastic! It was by far the best ahi tuna dish I've had in the triangle area! The calamari for an appetizer also got the thumbs up from everyone who ordered it.
The dessert selection looked fantastic (I think they made them in house, portion sizes were huge - I did not order any, but those who did seemed happy with their choices).
Don't let the name of this place fool you, this is much more than just a cafe! You need to try them for dinner sometime if you have not been!
I look forward to coming back soon!

My family and I ate here and the food was good. It is fresh and the cheeses and sauces are endless. So many choices.... just be prepared it is expensive but you pay for freshness! The fries are hand cut. The staff was nice but not very attentive.

Small, but quaint restaurant in little strip mall. Unexpected to be so fantastic. The whole ambiance radiated authentic Italian cuisine, from the staff, background music, wine and delicious dishes. Salads were fresh and dresssings were great. My son had a salad with shrimp and they were cooked perfect. My son's friend had the bolganese which he ate it all and it was a large bowl. The pasta dish I had was loaded with fresh chunks of garlic and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp scamp. My son had the chicken fettuccini and loved it. I also highly recommend the tiramisu. Wish we had this place in our town!

Sitting in the cute, casual cafe part of the store on a Saturday, I’m joined by many others having lunch while chatting or looking at the wine or browsing the books. The music sets a fun lively mood.
My Turkey with Pepper Jelly is delicious and packed tall with Turkey. I’ll need to take 1/2 of it to-go.
After a morning of holiday shopping at Brightleaf and Morgan Imports, I did more here while waiting for my lunch.
Great Durham (historic) spot.

This restaurant fills one's stomach with comfort food. In particular, our family favorite is the baked potato, prepared,"all the way" and covered with beef brisket. My favorite side is the creamed spinach with Jack cheese. In season, the fried okra is superb. This is casual dining at its best. Always a choice of vinegar based or tomato based barbeque sauce. Other options include pork barbecue, ribs, chicken, sausage, and salad (we always cover the salad with beef brisket. Sweet tea, unsweetened tea, soft drinks and beer are the liquid choices. If not already stuffed, fruit cobbler is usually available.
We did not realize how often we dined here until we went through a year's worth of dining receipts.

My grilled portabella sandwich was delicious. Just the right combination of grilled portabella, red peppers, spinach, and cheese. My daughter loved the NC Ruben with Turkey and well-balanced slaw. My spouse really enjoyed the apple scone and gingersnap cookie. The servers were courteous and helpful.

Just come ready for a memorable experience.
Had a reservation for 5 p.m. (opening time) on a Sunday. We were promptly seated and brought water - nice that they left an entire pitcher. We both ordered hot teas and were happy to see real looseleaf tea in the pot, as opposed to teabags. We ordered and shared several small dishes and even split dessert. They told us ahead of time that the dishes are brought out as they are cooked; which was fine with us. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was sleek and sophisticated, like a restaurant in a big city. It quickly filled up, and there was an energetic vibe with 80's music playing. We quite enjoyed the experience and are interested in coming back to try other dishes.
