Kennebec is located near the middle of no where. Good places are always found as it was full. Even with reservations we waited a short time. The lamb was spectacular and delicious. The wine selection was very good as well. On the "needs attention", the meal took for what seemed forever. As we talked about how long it was taking we overheard other diners complaining about the time it was taking to receive their orders. Don't know if it was a one time event or common. However, I would go again.

Sweet and Savory Crepe to enjoy on the beautifull Patio ,.Wines and Beers also available .
This small corner establishment in the heart of old town Durango, has bar none, the best crepes. You have a choice between flavorful lunch 'main dish' fare or deliciously decadent dessert crepes. They are made to order and are SO GOOD!!Thank you very much for your compliments,I really try to provide my customers with a special experience in both, food quality and atmosphere,

81301 is a local favorite, which is why it's always bursting at the seams with local patrons (myself among them). Great coffee, great tea, great homemade goodies. This is my favorite coffee house in Durango.

We are one of the most popular retail shops in Durango, serving small batch roasted specialty coffees and teas, a large selection of quality gourmet kitchen merchandise, and unique gifts and we strive to be a leader in the Durango retail marketplace. Our employees who greet and service you everyday are our best assets and we expect them to carry a very high customer service attitude and ethic.
Durango Roasters - great coffee. We had coffee at Durango Roasters 3 of 4 days in Durango during our stay. If they hadn't been closed on Christmas Day... The coffee was so much better than Starbucks. I wish we had a Durango Roasters in FL.

Dine alfresco on the Terraces overlooking James Ranch with our menu that offers all organic ingredients that are harvested from the ranch or local vendors such as delicious hamburgers, steak sandwiches, fresh salads, gourmet grilled-cheese melts and in the winter we add chili savory soups! We serve what is in season to make sure you receive the highest density of flavor and nutrition. While you are waiting for your food or after you eat you can take a self-guided walking tour as well as pet our kid goats (during our summer hours only). Dogs are welcome on leash. Summer hours are from Memorial Day weekend to the 2nd Saturday in October open Mon.-Sat. from 11am to 7pm. During the winter hours of operation we are open on Saturdays only from 11am to 5pm. We have a large canvas tent with a wood burning stove for the seating in the winter.
Burgers, salads, and more all fresh from the farm. Tasty GF bun available for sandwiches. All the seating is outside overlooking a green valley, across from mountain hills. Just sit and watch the birds, check out the goat pen, or enjoy a visit by a rooster.
and, stop in the little ranch market to pick up fresh meat, veggies, berries, and ice cream -- the mint chip ice cream is to die for.

Fusion Asian Bistro w/ sushi & many different varieties of rice bowls and noodle bowls
This isn't your regular sushi restaurant. They have many unusual selections which is exactly what we were looking for. The also have noodle bowls and salads for rounding out your meal. You won't leave hungry, and everything is quick in arriving. Restaurant is small so get there early. Get suggestions from your wait person, as ours was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Stopped in for breakfast. I was traveling solo but could quickly tell this place is popular with the college set as well as the retirees. I'm guessing it's also very busy for breakfast. I arrived around 9 and took the only table available. Ordered the green chili chicken tamale breakfast plate. It arrived quickly and looked great!! In addition to the tamales it came with eggs (ordered over easy), salad and a mix of black and pinto beans with cojita cheese. Everything tasted wonderful but the beans. They tasted like they came straight from a can. A little cilantro, cumin and garlic salt would have helped the flavor!! Otherwise it was a pleasant experience and I would come back.

Long time locals, Todd, Lisa and Grant Gibson have been part of the Durango community for 22 years. As Bayfield residents, Todd spent many years as a volunteer firefighter, including fighting the Missionary Ridge fires. Lisa's passion for entertaining led to the family's purchase of Farquarhts in 2008. Starting as Derailed Saloon and then transitioning over the last 7 years into a warm & welcoming Speak Easy style venue, that has become the "The Pour House". Lisa and Todd have worked whole heartedly to maintain a clean, safe, friendly, fun and affordable atmosphere in a warm and welcoming environment, which creates not just a night out on the town but a true Durango experience. Lisa knows and states that "she is only as good as her people" which is evident by her appreciation of her staff and customers. She embraces all that it takes to have a place where anyone can go, alone or with a group, and feel that they belong. The Pour House caters to all your needs. Projection screens and a sound system make this spot an ideal location for fundraising and other professional events. Scratch-made food prepared daily using locally grown, seasonal ingredients, craft martinis and cocktails, 14 draft beers and an affordable wine list only adds to the versatility of this bar. A grand mahogany bar from 1890s Silverton, a wood burning fireplace, open-air windows, 6 large HD TVs and 3 big screens creates the perfect environment to enjoy our large variety of appetizers and shared plates. Local and traveling musicians and a dueling piano bar only add to the Speak Easy feel of this local bar & restaurant that you can call your own. Come on in to experience this one of a kind place in the heart of Durango. Don't miss our dueling piano events on select Friday & Saturday nights! Music starts at 8:30pm.

Be Our Guest! Owners Ken & Sue Fusco welcome you to their casual, fine dining restaurant. Enjoy great food and great service, all in a comfortable atmostphere. Their Modern American Bistro menu has something for everyone. We promise you'll feel right at home at our place whether just enjoying a night out on the town or a special occasion.
The family gathered for some amazing seafood. The scallops were perfectly sauced with creamy chardonnay and mushroom sauce. The salmon was perfection with a complement of basmati rice and light vegetables. The grouper was amazingly crusted in pistachios. Finished with delicious cocktails and molten chocolate cake. Jonathan, our waiter was intelligent and entertaining.
