Visited recently for lunch. Went for the 2 course for 11.95 and was disappointed. Restaurant quality served at lunchtime, attention to detail and quality food. Attentive staff. The hotel itself has character and probably looked better tears ago but most country hotels are similar unless millions are thrown at them.
Would highly recommend.

An 18 seat restaurant with a weekly changing blackboard menu featuring local produce at every opportunity.Welcomes people for just a coffee, a bowl of soup or 3 course dinner with a chilled Bottle of Pouilly Fume.
I booked this restaurant whilst we were staying at Ballathie House (they were fully booked) and it was an excellent find. Its a small restaurant and staffed by the owner Graham and a young front of house waiter, who both saw to the needs of the customers. Albeit I have said it is small you are not seated close to the table next to you and there is plenty of personal space so it is more cosy than small. The food was first class, the banter between the owner and the waiter was excellent and we had a fantastic evening, were we ever to be in Stanley again we would highly recommend it. You would need to book in advance.

Public house and venue situated on the banks of the river Tay, in Highland Perthshire. The Taybank changed hands in Summer 2014 and is currently undergoing some much needed, and significant renovation work. During the renovation, the bar has been open, the kitchen continues to get better and better under the supervision of our fantastic new head chef, and our music sessions play on... Please check our facebook page for up and coming events...
Came here for the fiddlers night, great wee pub, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks, free music, all in it was a great night

We are open 6 days now ! 5pm to 10pm evening. Closed Tuesday
The first thing on entry is that it does not stink of curry. A very busy place with a mix of locals and visitors. A good menu with a large variety. Medium pricing for both food and drinks. Service a bit slow but apparently they have big difficulty in attracting staff. I would go back, we enjoyed it.

Wooden tables with cast iron bases' painted chairs and a warm welcome. We pride ourselves in making great tea and coffee with all our staff being trained in how to make the perfect froth to grace the best triple scored coffee. Tea has been chosen to compliment the local water conditions.A fantastic selection of cakes, from light crisp and chewy meringues to light Victoria Sponges to Macaroons and Apple Pies with pastry to die for.... all made in our small but busy kitchen. We invite walkers in and if your best friend is a dog bring them too ...we have an outdoor area which is smoke free so at last we can sit outside and be able to assured that the table next to you will not be smoking. Closed on Tuesdays. Though we will be open throughout the year.
We only had tea and coffee, both of which were very good, but there's is also a decent choice of food, including home-made soups and the Scottish staples of stovies and macaroni cheese.
Service is friendly and efficient and prices on a par with similar cafes in the area.

Lovely wee cafe in the heart of Dunkeld. Food really good with friendly service at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Best nachos! But not just that - lovely friendly staff who remember their regular clients, varied menu with lots of choices even for gluten free diets and vegetarians. The burgers and fish and chips are just superb, and the sandwiches are just great. But for us, it's always the nachos. With chicken. And extra jalapenos :)

The Perth Arms is, effectively, the only ordinary pub in a Dunkeld, as the other bars are either part of hotels or restaurants.
As pubs go, it was fine without being spectacular, and it didn't have the sort of cosy styling I was expecting. It is clearly a popular local pub however, and passing visitors such as us can never get the same feelings of camaraderie or intimacy that locals experience. So I've no doubt my average score is probably undervalued.

We are open for evening meals Friday from 5pm till 8pm (building shuts at 10pm), Saturday from 5pm till 8pm (building shuts at 10pm) Sunday all day from 12.30pm till 8.00pm (building shuts at 10pm) We do NOT have a public bar and only serve alcoholic drinks with full meals.
Have Sunday dinner at this lovely restaurant. Very good and varied menu, something for all. All meals were served promptly and were very well presented, very good portions and all very tasty. The service team were really pleasant and attentive and met all our requirements with a smile. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and welcoming and is very comfortable. Will definitely return when in the area.

On colder days enjoy your meal by the fire in the restaurant. If you're in a rush, why not order food to go from our takeaway? Delicious freshly made sandwiches and warming soup just like granny used to make. Sushi to go and homemade cakes, scones and traybakes. Yummy! Our gift shop range has a unique range of sculptures, ornaments and jewellery, which are all elegantly displayed within glass cabinets. The Gift Shop has something for everyone, ranging from children's gifts to attractive wall art, household goods to books and music. Our leisure shop has an extensive range of casual and outdoor clothing and wellies. We stock a large range of handbags, leather goods, fashion jewellery and various accessories which are ideal as gifts.
Always a good stopping point in the Way to Gairloch, food is always good if not a little pricey but the shop/visitors centre has lots on offer for the passing tourist, I was a little disappointed with the smaller amount of gin on sale this time, as I usually buy a bottle each time.
