Went on Friday night at 5 o'clock. Good thing we did because by 5:30 it was full. Very pleasant server and delicious food. I had stuffed Yorkie that was big enough for two accompanied by very nicely done roasted cauliflower, carrots and broccoli with mashed potatoes. The others had meat pie, burger and Caesar salad, soup and calamari. All good. Tables are small and close together, just like a European pub. Parking is on the street. If you have tickets for Theatre Ancaster you receive a discount on your meal. A nice incentive to eat here!

Our dinners group all enjoyed their meals and had a great time at Il Faiasco. The calamari was done perfectly and the restaurant went out of it's way to provide us with home made kettle chips on request (even though they weren't on the menus that night). All the meals had by our group of 10 were fantastic; from the bacon jam on the huge burger, to the cashew crusted chicken and tasty Angoloti jalapeño pasta, we all enjoyed every bite. The home made triple sec ice cream and the creme brûlée were a perfect end to a delicious meal.

The beautifully restored Ancaster Mill boasts a picturesque and Historic setting. The Dining Room features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Waterfalls and naturally landscaped Gardens. The interior decor accents the authentic look with warm earth tones and large stone fireplaces, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Ancaster is home to one of Canada"s most diverse and productive agricultural regions. With seasonal offerings inspired by Landmark Group's Earth to Table philosophy, Ancaster Mill's menus offer impeccable local ingredients from neadby farms and food artisans. The Ancaster Mill beverage selection compliments this with featured signature drinks and an expansive Wine List, including several by-the-glass selections.
Quality food is hard to come by in Hamilton area. The atmosphere enhances the dining experience. We went on a Saturday night. The evening and food well well paced. Great recommendations by the waitress. Had the special which was sea bass. Others had steak which was tender. The description of the brunch would get me back there again.

GREAT beers, good food...and the bonus was some Christmas entertainment for the Friday evening. John Janisse, a local singer entertained the packed house on Friday evening from 8 p.m. onwards.
Nice place for a get-together. Good variety of beers on top. Liver and onions were nicely presented.

Old fashioned English cookery; Teas from around the world
Went for tea with daughter getting married next year and looking for a tea house to host a get together. Well tea good and sandwiches okay but scones overdone and crusty, being of English descent and enjoyed scones my whole life these were hard and crusty not the way they are supposed to be. Service was a little chaotic- was served by three different people so looks like no real sever plan....did I mention our daughter is a server in a busy high end restaurant in Mississauga, and she called it chaotic.

One of our favourite places to eat in town -lots of vegetarian and fish options for climatarian diners Fabulous service and always good food. I highly recommend this Dundas eatery. Don’t forget to walk down memory lane and check out the murals, pictures and photos in the alley alongside the building. Long live the Deluxe Restaurant!

We had a group night out here. We had the separate room for the party. They were under staffed and seemed to be way out of control. Waited forever to get any food. eventually brought apps however NO PLATES. about 45 minutes waits for the apps. ordered drinks and again took forever. over an hour and finally food comes out in sporadic form. again numerous people had no plates. We got up to grab some plates that were stacked in the corner and the waitress quickly took them away saying they were the wrong plates. Have to say everyone was not happy.

Sure, it's not all you can eat and it's not open past 10 PM, but hey, that's some prime fish they use in their sushi, it just melts in your mouth. Ask the servers to recommend things to eat, you will not be disappointed. I'd rather pay a bit more here and know that I'm getting tasty fish than go to all you can eat and get sick afterward.

We basically paid $30 for a cup of cooked chickpeas, a cup of cooked rice, and about 2 cups of cooked cauliflower.
That, and 2 samosas (which were absolutely amazing!), some basic naan bread, and a single chipati.
Given the reviews that his restaurant already has, I was expecting a little taste of India when we ordered it the other night... but unfortunately it was just average, so I am rating it as such.
I would go back if somebody invited me to eat there with them, but I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone I know that "likes Indian food".

Our cafe showcases the coffees we source and roast. We also serve amazing food, making all of our sauces, jams, and baked goods from scratch, using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. We invite you to stop by if you’re ever in the neighbourhood.
We live in Melbourne and love good coffee. The flat whites tasted as though we were home! So happy after such average coffee throughout our trip in Ontario. There were some contenders in Hamilton that had been recommended to us but this is definitely the best so far - we'll be back tomorrow!
