Duck Donuts is a chain but it all began in Duck, NC (the shop's namesake). The donuts are hot and made-to-order. you might have a wait but it will be worth it. They have a bunch of toppings to choose from and I've tried most and they are all good.

My husband and I ate there for the first time last night. It was incredibly good! I had their filet that was on special, as I was tired of seafood, it was fabulous. Recommend calling a few days ahead for reservation, we called 2 hours in advance, we got a res, but it was at the bar. Great service, too!

We got a coupon from our rental property so decided to try out the bakery. Yikes! Heavy on pasteries and cakes and other delectibles. My husband had a pepperoni roll concoction that was tasty but deadly. I had an everything wheat bagel that was very good. We got a loaf of Italian bread but disappointed there wasn't a wheat bread offerings. I am sure folks loooking for a treat will enjoy the place

Great independent coffee shop which is also a bookstore. Appears to specialise in local authors or books about the OBX and the Carolinas plus usual best sellers. Coffee is great if bit slow preparing at times. Quaint old Duck Hunting building so a lot of character. Ideal place to grab paper and coffee after morning walk on The Boardwalk. Didn't try but muffins and cakes looked delicious

The Blue Point will be closed for our Christmas break from December 11 through December 26, 2017. We will reopen on December 27th and remain open all winter.
We’ve been coming to the Blue Point for over 24 years and it is truly one of the best eating establishments on the OBX. The lobster bisque is to die for. The rest of the menu is eclectic and has evolved over the years along with a growing cocktail and wine selection. We highly recommend it. Reservations are a necessity during the summer.

I ordered a carrot cake to celebrate a birthday while on vacation. An 8" was $35 (which was the smallest). It was three layers of cake with loads of icing. The carrot cake was great but there wasn't enough. There was way more icing than cake with the thickness of the icing inside the same as the cake thickness. Luckily, the icing was pretty light so it wasn't like eating straight sugar. It appeared to be more of a buttercream rather than cream cheese frosting. Everyone who had it was in agreement that there was not enough cake and that the icing was just too much. No one had leftovers.

The most beautiful restaurant in Duck, North Carolina, AQUA Restaurant offers fresh regional cuisine, exquisite wines and casual dining in an elegant waterfront setting on the Outer Banks. Enjoy a memorable meal, excellent service, great company, live music, amazing sunsets and superb waterfront views. It's a AQUA thing!
This was our first visit to Aqua and it couldn't have been better. We started with the sweet corn and clam soup, which was delicious. We then had the rockfish special that included risotto with mushrooms and kielbasa, which was unbelievably tasty. Finally, we split a peanut butter pie that they serve deconstructed and is so smooth and creamy. We also had them add a scoop of their homemade chocolate ice cream at the urging of our waiter, CJ.
We visited on a Monday night with a driving rain storm with gale force winds outside and there were still quite a few of us in the restaurant. CJ, our waiter, was knowledgeable and helpful and efficient. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the views out over the bay are spectacular, or would be without the driving rain. You should probably make reservations if at all possible, our guess is this place fills up on regular nights. Besides, a reservation will more than likely get you a table by the window.

My wife had a tea and enjoyed it,but the iced mocha I had was too sweet. So sweet that I'm not sure how the coffee actually tastes. It also wasn't mixed which I've seen at some shops, but I really don't prefer. The service was prompt and friendly.

Coastal Cravings is now Cravings Steaks & Seafood serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 7 days a weeks from 7am to 9:30 pm Outdoor Patio that is Pet Friendly along with our New Outdoor bar the Tap Shack with Live music Every Night at 6:30 pm
We heard about this place from the bar tender at the Sanderling resort, so we decided to try it. I'm glad we did. It was during off season but still busy. The burger was delicious, the wife had the fish and chips. Her only suggestion would be to make the fries bigger, not the amount of fries but the actual size of the fries. #frysizematters
The staff was friendly, and service was quick.
I would definitely come back.
