You can enjoy a good meal whilst watching life out on the fjord and in the marina. Our quality restaurant complex can offer á la carte service, cafe, food courses, catering, party and meeting venues throughout the year. In summer you can enjoy your meal in the beautiful surroundings outdoors.
I should been suspicious when the waiter suggested a Chianti Classico to match our halibut. A awfull idea, especially when the menu offers red Sancerre which is a much better choice for fish. The salad with mango dressing and 2 big shrimp was a disappointment. The flesh had no taste and the salad was borring, just a couple of leaves with some drops of industrial mango sauces. The halibut was a disaster!!! For practical reasons, the chef cooks the fish in advance and sous-vide. As a result the fish filet looks like a small white plastic bag...Obviously, the concept that "you eat with your eyes" has never reach the shore of that restaurant. In addition to the failed fish, The citrus beurre blanc (sauce) was replaced by a vulgar bechamel. I was furious to pay 350 kr for a dish worth less than 200kr. My advice is to avoid that place and if you are stuck there, take an hamburger.

Ramme Gaard is an ecological visitor centre. It comprising cafè and organic food sales outlet. The greenhouse is also used as a gallery. The farm shop sells organic meat and other produce from the farm. Groups/special events all year by prior arrangement. Directions: Leave the E-6 at the sign for Vestby syd-Hvitsten, after 4,6 km towards Hvitsten, take the turnoff into Thomas Olsens vei and follow the signs.

Det gamle Bageri (The Old Bakery) is located in a building which used to be a bakery and a brewery during the 18th century. The baker's oven still dominates this small, intimate prmises. This popular venue on the market square in Drobak is mainly known as a wine and cheeserestaurant.
Plenty of choice in Drobak - we opted for this for lunch. It is by the main square with an outside sitting area and tables inside as well.
Simple Manu. Really good prawns and crayfish tails. Daughter happy with her very Scandinavian cheese, ham and onion open Sandwich.
Special mention to the waitress - perfect English (studying at Newcastle university as it turned out). Happy to change our table when it appeared we were sitting next to an Eastern European smoking team enthusiastically warming up for a big match (when you use the remains of one to light the next that's the mark of a pro-smoker).
Shame the place doesn't get found when searching on TripAdvisor.

Mega Freiborgstua ANS is a cosy inn where they serve Chinese food, pizza and traditional meals. It is idyllic placed by the sea and by a big park and walking area in Storsand. The area has good bathing and fishing possibilities and is suited for families with children.
This place is a huge surprise! We now have been here twice and both times we were positively surprised.
The menu is standard chinese with the standard norwegian staples like hamburger in addition.
The restaurant is small, brightly lit and very clean. You order at the counter and service is fast, smiling and friendly.
We tried the spring rolls. Tasty, crisp and with a small salad.
Next we had the 'today' dish, chinese pork in dark sauce with fresh pak choy vegetables. Very tasty and good. finally I had the Szechuan beef. It was very good, medium hot like it should be.
The restaurant is located at the dock in Storsand. There is a big outdoor area, beach, fishing and nice recreational area.
The biggest surprise is the prices. It is cheap! All in all this is excellent value for money and I give this place a big recommendation.

Welcome to our distinctive and cosy premises in Drobak. This is a restaurant where art and culture complement magnificent architecture. Our trademark is traditional home-made dishes prepared by our top-class chef. We have function rooms for large and small events and two Gardens.
The waiter recommended and we ordered a grilled salmon with vegetables, as the dish of the day for 3 people..
He brought us a fried Milanese white fish, not a salmon, and when I complained the waiter answered " the fish is grilled and fried" ..,,give me a break !!!
Would never return to this place..

Nice place in downtown Drøbak. Old but cozy building. You can sit inside and enjoy the local arts (paintings), or outside in the garden opposite to the restaurant.
Food is good/average. We missed more seafood in their seafood soup. Sadly we found only 2 shrimps and 1/2 scallop in our soup. Soup should be more creamy.
We waited too long for our order and staff was very busy.
Ok place to eat if you are hungry and need food in Drøbak. Compared to other alternatives in Oslo, this restaurant is only a 3*, but in Drøbak with limited alternatives, this is one of the better picks.

Allways enjoying a nice quality meal at Fiskerøkeriet in Drøbak. Good food and nice and relaxed atmosphare in the middle of the nice town of Drøbak. During the week ends there is music from local bands :) This is a place to visit.

We went as a family. I had a Peking Soup and pork in sweet and sour sauce. The soup was not so exiting, but the pork tasted really good. Perfectly crisp and a sauce slightly on the sweet side. Friendly waitress.

Sjostjernen has a great location right down by the sea and the new guest marina in Droebak. The place is modern and quite new and you can choose tables indoors or outside depending on the weather and especially the direction of the wind. We had my 80 year old mother with us and no doubt we sat inside. We ordered the seafood soup from the limited menue, but you do not need anything else than this soup. Fantastic and above expectation. Really nice taste and you want more, though the bowl was not small. Recommendable for anyone visiting Droebak. Informal, open, light and friendly service. Go!
