This place will have some dishes you are familiar with and some not so much. It's all good. Clean, good service and a nice outdoor dining patio makes this place a standout in the neighborhood. Try the sweat crepe, it's delicious with the strawberries, bananas, and is it nutella , and whipped cream. mmmm.

Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.
I ordered the Bison Meatloaf & it was excellent. Very lean and so tasty. Also I've eaten their Fish & Chips which were also excellent. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. Outdoor seating is covered and clean..

Took a family member to dinner to show appreciation and got more than we expected. The service was great, but even more so, my wife raved at how the prime rib was the best she had ever had or probably would ever have! The baked beans were excellent as well.

We went here one Friday night and it was extremely busy. It was worth the wait though! I got the italian hot sub and it was AMAZING. I crave it still to this day. I will go back soon since we live nearby. My husband LOVED the pizza crust.

Visiting LA on business and stumbled upon Pop's one Sunday morning. There was a line outside which is always a good sign. Pop's offers your standard breakfast menu including Pancakes, French toast, eggs, and omelets. I ordered the French toast with eggs and bacon. I requested the bacon be well done and received it as ordered. I was asked if I wanted my French toast grilled or deep fried. I have never had deep fried French toast before so why not. OMG!!! Ridiculously delicious. Has a similar taste of funnel cake. Who doesn't love funnel cake. The meal was on point, the service was fast, and the location is convenient. I would highly recommend you visit Pop's if in the LA area.

Green Olive in Downey opened just recently. We had delicious spicy potatoes, lamb kabob and a gyro. Both entrees came with pilaf or saffron couscous and a cucumber tomato salad dress with lemon. The meats were lean, well seasoned and done to perfection. The portions were generous. Lunch specials average $12 and regular entrees $16. We will definitely go again.

We have been going to Mimi's for years and have received excellent service - that changed on November 22, 2018. Hopefully Mimi's management will read this review and step up their game.
We took my 92 year old father to Mimi's the day before(11/22/17) Thanksgiving. At the conclusion of his meal he asked for a slice of pumpkin pit. Our server said they did not have it. Then he corrected himself and said they had pumpkin pie, but were only selling whole pies and would not be selling slices until the Thanksgiving day.
We asked if he would please ask the manager for a slice. Told our server due to circumstances this time we could not take a whole pie home. He went to check and returned, saying his manager could not accommodate us.
Tried again, told server we would pay the price of a whole pie, but just wanted one slice. Server went to manager and again the request was denied.
Therefore, you the reader will understand my service rating today.
Hope this helps you make a decision regarding where you will dine in the future.
Honestly we will most likely return at some far future date, but not as often.
Enjoy your day.

A childhood favorite of my husband's. The only thing we ever order is the quesadillas...they have 3 kinds. Red, green, and red and green. My husband loves the red...it's got bits of pork and a lovely tomato-esque taste...lots of melted cheese. I actually like the red and green...offers a hint of heat. Our kids love it...and at $2 a piece, it's not a bad deal.

Popped in here one afternoon for an early dinner, was like stepping back in time, so much so i took some black and white photos as it just suited the place.
Staff were lovely, recommending some dishes over others - and increasing our consumption and bill as a result, but thats what a good waitress should do right?
Had some great burgers, brilliant shakes and an amazing desert that we all shared.
Good food, good value and would come back again next time I am near - unlike the burbank one... more on that place later..

While talking about good food and how most restaurants have raised their prices while serving less, Gloria's was recommended as having good food and serving up a nice portion for a fair price so we went the same day.
The restaurant is quite dated with wobbly chairs that make you think they could fall apart at any time.
We were seated right away with chips & salsa brought right away. The chips were hard and the salsa a little on the hot side which was disappointing.
The server came and took our order, she was very pleasant and attentive.
The carnitas were not at all fresh, in fact, you could tell they were reheated and the taste was so blah that the "hot" salsa that came with the chips made the carnitas easier to eat. The rice was better but a little on the salty side.
The meat served as steak picado looked reheated and dry and unlike any other I've seen but Mom said it tasted good so you can try it if you will....
Papa said the sope, tostada & enchilada were different but good so he was content and really hungry and ate all his food.
The hand made tortillas are what sealed the deal for my parents so they'll be back, not me....
The service was great, prices fair and portions big.
