Sara's has a great old time ice cream shop feel. The penn state ice cream is so smooth and creamy. The day I visited I had the PB sundae. I chose the pb swirl ice cream that was covered in hot fudge,pb cup chips,pb sauce with whipped cream and a cherry. This sundae was like a small piece of heaven. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this opportunity if you are in the area to have some ice cream....and who doesn't like ice cream !

Smittie's Roadside Stand sits along Route 74 (a.k.a. Carlisle Rd) in Dover, Pennsylvania. You are sure to notice the white building with the lighthouse on top. Inside that lighthouse you will see a blue neon pretzel and the outside announces our name, hours, and that we are serving Hot Fresh Pretzels.
So, this is a small building on the side of a busy road, however, the pretzels are so good!! We definitely stop here when we are going home from Pinchot State Park! Unfortunately our youngest has celiac and must eat gluten free. My husband asked the lady if they had gluten free pretzels and she had no idea what he was talking about. So, the answer is "no" to gluten free pretzels, but, we will still stop for the rest of us (and I have gluten free snacks in the car for our youngest child). Definitely stop here if you love delicious soft pretzels!

Bill Macks has been serving our homemade ice cream in York County since 1963 . Please stop by our family owned business and enjoy our ice cream, shakes, sundaes , banana splits and more ! Also stop by our Mountain Mist Mini Golf next door!
This place might be decent if they actually hired people who knew what they were doing. Went in here and ordered 2 twist ice creams in dishes to go. Get home and they are both all vanilla! Take them back in and the girl says...MoreOur staff is actually friendly, hard working and consistently provide great customer service. We strive to hire and train to this end. Our customers consistently praise us on our employees and I notice that other reviewers do as well.

For 40 years always the best food. Always open. And the 3 lb weighted key chain that they give to you to use the bathrooms is really weird. Just funny stuff, not sure what the reason is.

We visited last week, and had a good time. The food is average for a diner, and the specials are tasty. The staff are jovial and make for a pleasant experience. Try it out, you will not leave hungry. Also, you NEED to check out the bathrooms. Not anything bad, just quirky. The bathroom is clean and functional, but interesting enough to take a picture and send it to all of your friends. Have a good evening and get some great food!

Shared dinner here with a group of 55+ friends. Portions were generous, and home-cooking type food: chicken parm, veal parm, liver and onions, broasted chicken, broiled haddock. Salads were basic, mashed potatoes home-made. Service was friendly, with no problem splitting the check for each couple.

This is one of my favorite places. The outside patio is quiet and inviting. The prices are very reasonable and the food and drinks are delicious. The servers are always friendly, especially Tyler. It's a great place to take your family, or have a nice relaxing date night.

We ordered two subs and a slice of pizza. All food was received hot and prepared as ordered. Portion size was adequate. Subs were good. They make their own bread for their subs and the bread doesn't overwhelm the rest of the ingredients in the sub which was nice. Wouldn't say it was the best we've ever eaten, but it definitely wasn't the worst either. Overall, food was good and we will definitely return.

Being close to Sal pizza it is really great because the Pizza is amazing and the subs are too. Been going there for 15 years and the deals are always good to look out for too... Plain cheese pizza is the best around
