Drove over from Colquitt for breakfast--Food was very good, staff was friendly. We had the Big breakfast (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 3 strips of bacon, grits, toast & coffee) good price & good place to eat. Also, they were putting out lunch Buffett & it looked delicious.

Cool ambiance, exactly what you'd expect in the deep swamp area of southeast GA! On lake Seminole, accessible by land and boat. Cheap beer, (craft beer? draft beer? Ha ha ha...no way here! But cold cheap bottles, all beer same price). Fried everything, fried pickles before the meal yum yum. Food was better than average, but I could see it had the potential to be much better if you know what to order. Waitress was really slow, but she was slammed. She was funny though and held up OK despite her table load.

Our family was traveling home through Donalsonville and we found this place on TA. It is at the intersection of 3rd st (US 84) and 2nd st. Ate a late lunch here and there were only couple locals in the restaurant. The food was very cheap and delicious. This place is probably the best place in town as there are only 2 or 3 non-fast food places. I would recommend this place for travelers passing through town. Our waitress was very nice and I would definitely come back again.

The food here is pretty good, average Americanized Mexican menu. It's a nice change now and then from the standard "Southern Cooking" of our area. The value is also really good. The only reason I can't rate it higher is that on several occasions now, the staff has been a little aloof. I'm not sure if it's a bad attitude or simply a difference in culture or if something is getting lost in translation. Also on the last couple visits, the TV's are so loud it's hard to talk over them. And what's SHOWING on the TV's hadn't been great either. It's not just loud sports, but there have been movies playing and the language really wasn't appropriate for young families. Great fajitas though.

This is an excellent restaurant. They have a daily lunch buffet, where the food is always good, and a sit-down dinner in the evenings. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, they have special Mexican, Italian, and seafood buffets as well. They may be adding more later.
We had dinner here last night. My wife had the Spaghetti with Chicken Parmesan, which she loved. I had the Black an Blue Burger, a hand-formed burger with blackening spices and blue cheese. This was, hands down, the best hamburger I have ever tasted I will definitely be going back for this.

The employees were friendly, service was quick, and breakfast was hot, had biscuits & gravy and breakfast platter. It became very busy but no one seemed to wait for more than a few minutes for their food.

I gave the restaurant a three and not a one because the service was great . The restaurant was clean as was the restroom. There is ample parking for RV's, trucks and trailers.
I was served Chicken Alfredo lukewarm and it tasted canned. The fettuccine noodles were stuck together in hard and chewy strings. The garlic bread was half a piece of white bread, toasted with very little garlic or butter flavor. The toast was cold.
Maybe something else would have been more palatable.

As a Donalsonville local, we visit here often. The food is good and that's what brings us back. However, the cleanliness of the bathrooms are usually lacking. Also, the staff is not very friendly. I feel like I'm dealing with disgruntled postal workers or disgruntled employees of the DMV. With that said, love the Subway Club.

I absolutely hate writing bad reviews and will generally give an establishment 2 or 3 tries before posting a negative review.
The best thing I can say about this place is that the food is.... edible.
The staff is cordial enough, I mean, I've never been yelled at or cussed but most greetings have been thrown out with all the enthusiasm of a DMV clerk working through their lunch break: "Next" "Have a nice day."
We've never ordered without something going back so we have now stopped going. We don't ever eat hamburger that's red or pink. A steak, maybe pink, but never ground beef. Every time we've ordered hamburgers we've clearly asked for WELL-DONE and it always arrives reddish-pink. And Im still trying to figure out how we can see them making pancakes yet when they arrive they are so cold that the stuff they call butter won't melt? Ever.

As a local of Donalsonville, I have to unfortunately rate this as simple average. It's your standard Pizza Hut food and buffet. It's clean enough, and service has been either lacking or average. I wish I could report excellence on any of the normal categories, food, quality, service, cleanliness, value, etc. I've not been impressed, but it's ok.
