We like to visit Bow Bells - especially for their afternoon tea. However, don't expect a hello or nod from the owner- for a local councilor, it's disappointing.
However, back to the food - homemade cakes, traybakes, buns etc are excellent. The staff are all friendly - which make up for the owner.

Went with friends for a Birthday meal. Haven’t been to the restaurant for a few years but it was still as good as ever. Friendly atmosphere, good service and great food. Would certainly recommend for a special occasion.

Excellent garden centre and restaurant. All products sold in restaurant are home made and delicious! A scone would easily feed two people! Great shopping for the garden, soft furnishings for the home with a selection of clothing too! A great way to spend the morning.

This bar has been around since before the English settlers landed in America (in 1620) and when it originally opened on this exact site on Donaghadee's High Street in 1611, it was known as The King's Arms. Since then, Grace Neill's has been visited by countless locals over the years, as well as Smugglers and pirates, sailors and soldiers. Fishermen and lifeboatmen, businessmen and rascals have all enjoyed a drink or two in the original snugs at the front of the bar.
We arrived for dinner and had a good seat. Waitress was prompt and our order came in a decent time. We both ordered 10oz steaks they were cooked perfectly along with mushrooms onion rings and skinny fries. Presentation as it should be. Had chocolate cheesecake (shared) for dessert. Evening a success, get down here soon.

We went for Sunday Lunch on 3rd September. We opted for the Sunday Lunch Special Menu- hard to choose as we loved everything on the menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their starters, mains and desserts. Staff are lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning soon.

Visited here on Mon 13th Feb around lunchtime for coffee and cakes, not based on reviews but on the fact that it was the first place we came to having parked close to the harbour on a very windy day with the waves crashing over the sea wall. The welcome from the young lady behind the counter was lovely from the moment we walked through the door. I also noticed her interacting with some older customers while we sat and her customer service was top notch throughout - really friendly and genuine.
We were served quickly, the coffee was great and in particular the rhubarb and ginger scones were lovely. However our overwhelming impression was just how lovely the staff were- a credit to Donaghadee and they've guaranteed a return visit to the town by us the next time we're in Northern Ireland. Highly recommended.

After coming here a number of times and have them organise my wife's surprise 40th last year, I couldn't fault one thing.
From the amazing platters to the sweet fresh desserts, the friendly warm staff who do a sterling job at keeping there customers happy to the splendid views over looking the harbour.
We will be back again and again after that.....
