In the heart of old downtown Brentwood! Charming small cafe with a bakery where all items are made in house.
My sister in law had the Greek Omelet and and I had the Relleno Omelet, both with egg beaters and fruit instead of hash browns, includes toast.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was hot and delicious. They forgot our side order of bacon but brought it quickly when we mentioned it.
Bakery items look yummy but not on our diet plan.
Busy place but nice and homey!

Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were told there was going to be a 25 minute wait, even though there were numerous empty tables. I think they must've been short handed or something because many of the tables were not cleared. We sat in the bar section and the table was never wiped down. I had to eat next to a soiled piece of paper napkin that was stuck to the table. Yuck. My friend had the crab won tons (?) and seemed to like them. I had the tostada nachos. Not really what I expected. I figured they would be individual nachos but instead the chips were spread out like a deck of cards across my plate. They were smeared with a minimal amount of puréed beans and topped with cheese and black olives. I had to eat them with a fork because you couldnt pick them up since the cheese was completely covering them. They really weren't anything special and looked pretty unappetizing. Since we ate in the bar section our server never really paid any attention to us, and I felt like we were an imposition. Oh well. I might try it again for a burger or something, but not sure.

Open at 3:30 am Monday-Friday, 5 am Saturday and Sunday. Great staff, they really hustle to get the orders out quickly...be prepared for a wait during peak times.

It was a very pleasant stop on our way back to L.A from visiting family. The place was clean and the waitresses were friendly and very pleasant! The biscuit and gravy was so rich and tasty.
I am determined to taste biscuits and gravy wherever I travel too from now on so definitely this will be in my reviews.
Hashbrowns were nice and crispy, the kids ate all their food and when this happens it means it was tasty!!
I recommend it;)

We’ve been going here for years and always enjoyed it but have seen it go downhill with smaller, bland tasting food while the prices have soared. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Elaine, the owner and hostess smile once in all the years. If you say hello to the chefs in the open style kitchen they don’t respond. Ricky the bartender is the friendliest!!

The new owner was taking a lot of heat...but he reached out to the community for a 2nd chance. A free bottle of wine if we came out to dinner. Well it worked! The place was packed. for the most part everyone was happy. Our dinner was very good. Our waiter very attentive....and thank you for the wine!

This store is one of my favorites. They are friendly, quick and helpful with suggestions and explanations of different items. I usually buy my gift cards packs from Costco for a little savings and make my smoothie purchases. I love their wraps and oatmeal.

While a quaint and clean establishment, the service was lacking -- the waitresses were confused by the concept of ordering individual servings of sashimi (as well as the Japanese names for certain offerings -- did not understand "hotategai") -- as well as the quality of fish was sub-par -- the amaebi was more like a prawn (the fried head VERY large and VERY hard shell) and its tail was off-color and not fresh (fishy smelling). Disappointing, but not surprising, with the limited options in the Far East Bay.

We were invited to lunch with friends and really enjoyed our lunch. Among our four orders were the Southwestern Chicken Roll-Up, Prime Rib Melt, Beef Stroganoff and the Glazed Meatloaf. Except for the meatloaf we all enjoyed our lunches very much. The food was well prepared and presented and the service was friendly. The atmosphere inside was average but had a very low noise level which was great for conversation. The booth for four was a bit on the small side which was our only complaint. If I lived in Brentwood would certainly go back again. Good variety of foods on the menu to try.
