Swaad is a fine Indian dining restaurant in Le Meridien. Service and Food both are quite good.
I would recommend this place for:
- Good Food (not Great but good)
- Free Children Dining for in-hotel guests and
- Great Service
Only con was it was closed during the day. This is only for dinners. Thanks to the great restaurants, we didn't have the leave the resort looking for food.

A chic Italian restaurant with a view of beautifully landscaped Gardens and one of the largest swimming pools in UAE. Guests can dine in the comfort of the restaurant's fully air-conditioned dining room, or enjoy the sea air from the outdoor Terrace
Ours was a vegetarian bunch and we decided to give this restaurant a try during our stay at Le Meridien. The menu isn't much to boast about but the taste is delectable. We tried the bruchetta, minestrone soup, a vegetarian pizza and penne arabiata with vegetables. The portion size is reasonable and food seemed very fresh, specially the pasta sauce, it didn't taste like it was from a can. Special thanks to our server Murali who arranged for the chef to custom make some of the food. A must try place.
Ps- children of hotel guests dine complementary and if you've checked in half board, you get 100 dirham food credit per guest at the restaurant.

I traveled a lot for work and have done some work myself in hospitality. Eman has been one of the best ambassadors, let alone bartenders, of any establishment I have experienced. He has been friendly, problem solved for us and other guests of the resort, and has been prompt and friendly with all of our needs. Would recommend this experience to everyone I know.

This has to be the best beach grill ever. Yet again it just beats anywhere else. Huge thanks to Jamela, Jaynath and Daniar, front of house, yet again, but even bigger thanks to the chefs hidden away from us who we have never seen.......!! Steve and Chrissie

Sit back, relax and let the sea breeze wash over you at Sharkeys Bar – the perfect place for families and groups seeking beachside solace after a busy day at the resort. Choose from a menu of inventive mocktails and cocktails and a tempting range of tasty snacks and light meals, as well as after-dinner Shisha delights, all complemented by live music and entertainment performed daily by local DJs and artists. For the ultimate chilled-out experience, guests can order from the comfort of their sunbed, while the kids are kept happy playing on the beach after finishing a tasty meal from Sharkeys’ dedicated children’s menu.
the bar tenders are really fun and chatty
the atmosphere was very relaxed and the drinks are good however be careful when ordering as did get over charged but it was sorted. just keep an eye on the bill.

Picture a private candlelit dinner for two on the golden sand, watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean waters, or a relaxed family meal by the beach, where the kids are kept happy with a dedicated children’s menu and fun games. Waves Beach Restaurant is a trendy but laid-back venue offering a dining experience to suit every occasion. Choose from the delicious à la carte dinner menu or try the catch of the day as you unwind and enjoy panoramic sea, garden and pool views. Beach Cabanas are available for small intimate gatherings.
As nearly the only business traveler today in the 'Waves' I was absolutely satisfied with service and kitchen.
It is very difficult to find a kitchen chief who is so flexible and proffessional to adapt on customer wishes like chief Sundeep here in the Waves Beach Restaurant of the Rotana Beach Resort Fujairah.
My compliments for setting my wishes individual and precisely on my platters.
Octopus & Prawns quickly rosted in Olive Oil with garlic and chilli, followed by 'on-point' grillet fillet mignon with green aspargus and pepper sauce. The chocolate cake was the crown on the short menue.
Finished with a nice Shiraz from South Africa the team of Waves Beach made my day. Thank you!

Every now and then I make exceptions to my rule not to eat Italian when abroad. A quick lunch in a shopping mall. Seen the choices, I decide to give a try to this place.
A good salade niçoise (ok, it’s French, but I like it and I live so close to the French border that I almost consider it Italian fare…), a more than acceptable pizza, with a generous tuna topping.
Luckily the salad is cold, so there’s no problem if both plates come to the table at the same time (we Italians are peculiar about the order the food should arrive to the table).
Taste is good, price is honest, staff is nice. What else would you ask to a quick lunch break?

The pizzas are raw The cheese used as a topping is for sure quite old.. The service is slow and the ordered drinks arrive at the end of the lunch I truly understand why the locals bring their own food and just ask for drinks.....MoreWe regret this experience and please do refer to visit us again, and we will compensate this experience We would like to hear from you in detail Thank you owner
