I visited here with family as part of the real ale trail. Great selection of beers and good atmosphere. The Pork Pies and Pasties were also very good.

Charming rural pub offering excellent freshly cooked to order food and a fabulous range of drinks including Cask Marque Yorkshire ales and wines from award winning vineyards. Booking highly recommended as we do get busy every day. Thanks
The food was very prepared however the menu was fairly limited and not so exciting. When we go out we like to have something that we wouldn't normally have at home! The atmosphere is more pub like than restaurant, so not really the place for a special occasion but fine for a decent meal at a decent price. A plus point were the staff and service which couldn't be faltered.

First time we have been but won't be the last good selection of food and great value for money, on a constructive note we had to ask of horse radish sauce for the beef we had and a spoon and sugar with our coffee but overall good service just little things that could make a difference to some people

We called in for dinner just before Christmas, it was busy with the usual Christmas parties but still served great food and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is quite small but you don't feel squashed in.

We visited this venue yesterday 2/01/2018 for my son's 15th birthday family meal.
I had pre booked via telephone.
The welcome, the service, the food and the value for money were all excellent.
The chicken, the pasta and the calzone pizza were all amazing dishes.
We were given plenty of time to enjoy our starters and mains, and chorus of happy birthday accompanied by the pianist was a treat.

My partner and I went here after a friend recommended this. It was a bit of a drive from where we live but it was worth it. The place was very welcoming and the staff were attentive. The food was excellent. The Siam starter platter is a good recommendation especially if you don't know what to get. You get a selection of starters in one plate including spring rolls (the best spring roll I've tasted in a restaurant), sweetcorn cake, chicken satay, ans the papaya salad. I got confused with the papaya salad thinking it was the same as Som Tum but it wasn't. It was still very good tho. For the main meal we had the lamb shank with masaman sauce and seafood platter. The seafood was absolutely fresh and delicious and the lamb shank was very flavourful. We also had the spicy noodle which was amazing. We would definitely come back here. We have to spend the 25% discount! Hahahaha

Visited on Sunday teatime. Very quiet. Sunday's restaurant serves a buffet which was very nice with half dozen mains to choose from. The main menu looked extensive with a few dishes not seen in other restaurants so sure would be worth trying. Lots of vegetarian choices. Prices are very reasonable and you can bring your own alcohol. The decor could do with a bit of a spruce up but the staff are friendly laid back but welcoming.

I had not been here for a few years, but went mid-week with my son. We had not booked but they fitted us in. We were in a hurry so only had main course. I had halibut from the menu with it being mid-week and maybe not the most popular dish in an Italian, my expectations of it being fresh were fairly low. It was however very white and firm as well as delicious. In fact we 'nipped' in the week after and I had the lamb kebabs again it was superb. The service is very good and the fresh food good value. This will now be my very local last minute choice.
