Check out our new location in Downtown Sun Prairie at the corner of King and Main. Newly expanded menu with entrees, full bar with craft cocktails, in a restored 116 year old building. We are proud to source most of our ingredients from local sources including artisan cheesemakers, wisconsin dairy farmers, family farms, and producers. We have a scratch kitchen and bake our pies in a 6000 lb brick hearth oven.
We had 3 excellent takeout pizzas last week. Normally I worry that 20-30 minutes in the car will reduce the quality, but we reheated them in the oven at 350F and they were as good as new. We love the interesting combinations (Basic, Woodman) and also had one custom-made with spinach, ricotta, and garlic. The crusts are tasty and crispy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. Salvatore's does a wonderful job with their pizza.
On the side, we had an issue with our online order when we arrived for pickup, and I was concerned that our spotless image of Sal's, developed over several previous visits, was going to be tarnished. Not to worry - the issue was handled professionally and kindly, and we were on our way soon. Sal's knows how to run a business as well as how to make pizza. We'll be back, again and again.

Have been coming to Aranda's for 3 years. Consistently great Mexican Vegetarian entrees since that's what my family and myself always choose. And the portions are ample so always have great leftovers for the next day. Service is quick and staff is friendly.

Mid-Morning breakfast was marred by poor service from start to finish. The food, as always, was great! Both the farmhouse crepes and breakfast burger were fresh, hot, and filling. Given the choice between hash browns and diced red potatoes, the latter is the better choice. The pepper-infused vodka Bloody Mary with a beer chaser is a highlight. First time ever that we've had poor service here, but this really was a bad experience.

We offer a range of sweet bakery items including scones, muffins, sweetbreads, and cookies along with a small range of savory breads and our scrumptious asiago or spicy cheesy bubble bread. We proudly use Stone Creek coffee for our brewed coffees and coffee drinks. Sassy Cow ice cream is also available. In cooler months we make 2 delectable soups each day for carryout or dine in.
I couldn't find a place to get a chai latte in DeForest so I asked around and was referred just down the road to this place - wonderful cinnamon rolls with thick cream cheese icing, gluten free monster cookies (and many other kinds) ... . great cappuccino, chai, etc. . . I was in town for a conference for the weekend and went here twice - super friendly staff and 6 or so tables you can sit at inside and several outdoors too!

This restaurant opened recently.
Visited for lunch with a group from work. There were a good assortment of choices, and none seemed disappointed. Yet, the entrees did not draw any special compliments or go beyond what was expected from this relatively new restaurant. Service was adequate, but not remarkable. There was a fish fry lunch special. Again, a good entree, but not one of the best in the area.
From this one experience, Buck and Honey's seems like a safe choice, but don't expect to be overly impressed. The outdoor area may make it a better choice once the weather improves.

If I am not in the area to shop in the store, I order via telephone and have it shipped. All cheeses are made in house. My absolute favorite is the Uber Sharp Cheddar. Absolutely the best cheddar I have ever had. There is also a good selection of wines, souvenirs, and cheese accessories.

Have been coming to BB Jack's for over 3 years. And as a Wisconsinite have eaten many fish fries. Let's start with the fish- thicker fillets, arrive crispy and hot- not overly breaded. The fries or tater tots also hot and crispy without being greasy. The coleslaw is crunchy, cold with a nice tangy dressing. And the warm garlic bread is a nice touch instead of often cold rye bread or doughy dinner rolls that many restaurants serve. BUT......The Tartar Sauce!!!!!!!!! Since new ownership the tartar sauce sits on the table in squeeze bottles. Warm and there's just something about tartar sauce in a squeeze bottle................... For the love of Pete! Tartar sauce is meant to be cool and served on the plate in a side cup with multiple flavor notes. Not tepid and bland. It can be a nice addition to the fish or in this case a detractor. If it wouldn't be for that sauce I certainly would give this fish fry a higher rating.

We spent the night at an area hotel and stopped at Culvers for a sundae after eating dinner at an area restaurant. The restaurant was extremely clean and service was quick and efficient. This is an easy on/easy off access to the interstate. It's definitely a good place to stop for either a nice dessert or a full meal. We will be back on our next visit to the DeForest area.

It cost just under $9.00 for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a root beer. BUT... the quality of the food was excellent. Only complaint was that the chicken tenders on the sandwich weren't as crispy as I would have like them.

Wanting to try something different on my trip thru Madison, so I dropped in. Had a kind of combo plate with plantains, rice, beans and 3 kinds of meat. WAY more food than I needed but it tasted so good. Highly
