Wow... What an fantastic lunch!!! We've been to this beautifully located restaurant, overlooking the beach, a number of times over the years... and it has always been good... but this time it seems they have noticeably upped their game. The food was quite extraordinary! The team seem to be making more of their Sardinian heritage than I remember from previous visits... Their wine list has been celebrated recently by others... and rightly so... In particular, the selection of Sardinian wines is outstanding. It is difficult to imagine that even the best restaurants there could match Pilu's. We took the advice of the well-informed, Salvatore and were not disappointed. The utterly more-ish, crispy Sardo bread with ricotta and honey set the tone for a truly fabulous meal. Diced, smoked mullet with celiac, scampi tails and spaghettoni with duck slipped down with groans of delight. Chargrilled kingfish, barramundi and slow roasted lamb led to gentle disagreements about who had chosen the best dish... all were divine! The shared local pastry filled with ricotta, sultanas and honey with excellent espressos was the perfect conclusion to really wonderful lunch... Outstanding!!!

One of our favourite restaurants for lunch overlooking the beach. We had the antipasto platter followed by the fish of the day (jewfish). Both delicious ! Friendly staff, great food and the perfect location for a relaxing lunch.

We stopped here for dinner on a weekend. It was quite busy but we managed to find a table in the back. Although they claim to be vegetarian friendly there were only 2 vegetarian dishes to choose from and when I asked they couldn’t recommend anything else. Service was fast so we were in and out in 30 minutes. But the limited vegetarian options and $40 per person cost for a pasta, a salad and some mineral water means we will try one of the other restaurants in future.

One of the best customer service available at a restaurant.
All stated on menu:
Split bills no problem.
Shared meal on 2 plates no problem - minimal service charge ($2-$3) for extra plate and extra food for splitting.
Service was great with recommendations from waiters/waitress
Servings are huge - absolute value for $
Comfy Seating. There is Seating inside, on the patio (open) and on the sidewalk. We sat on the patio. Most Seating has sea view.
Clean restaurant. Bright welcoming decor,
Restroom clean ... just one for male and one for female.
Booking is suggested on Sat dinner. Restaurant was full.
Will be back

Overrated.
Sorry to say RobP (several reviews down), that I actually didn't like it that much.
Granted that the pasty was nice. It was the only redeeming feature of the place.
But the fillings were beyond bland. We tried a selection and found them all to be bland. A bit of salt and pepper or some garlic or herbs during the cooking process, would have helped enormously.
Bland pies can be forgiven and jazzed up myself before eating. But why bother.
The girl who served us would have to be the most sullen, bored and indifferently miserable person ever to do so. I know working in a pie shop may not be that exciting, but I don't think I have ever had more unfriendly unhelpful service anywhere. Felt as about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. When working in hospitality or retail, a simple smile or hello costs nothing to the server, and may influence the customer to return. I would only return if I wanted to depress myself with her attitude.
So whilst I could go here for pies, as the shop is near my hotel room, I think why waste my hard earned money for such an indifferent experience. From now on I will drive the extra distance, and only go to The Brooky Pie (where the pies are fabulous and so is the service)
Honestly amazed to see people lining up outside the door for this place. Mystified.
Oh well. There ARE fantastic pies on the Northern Beaches, so their loss and not mine.

Last time were at this restaurant we thought it was not as good as it used to be so we decided to try it again just in case things had improved.
However things had not improved. Only thing that had changed was the menu prices had gone up and the service was so inexperienced we nearly walked out.
Young waitresses were pleasant but gave us the impression they had just been hired for the night. They knew nothing about the menu items and had difficulty even operating the electronic ordering system.
Food was good but very over priced. Not value for money.
Friday night but very few dinning guests. Maybe a sign Limani's days are numbered.
With so many good restaurants in the area we will not be back.

If you want a quick no frills Thai meal this is a great place to visit. Hidden away at the end of an arcade, most people would not know this place existed. But the number of people who were there gave us the impression that we had found something special. This little restaurant/cafe didn't let us down. The food was fresh, flavorsome and with all the beautiful aromas you'd expect from great Thai food. The serves are very generous and reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended.

Great Italian restaraunt based in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia with sensational and authentic Italian cuisine
We have been here a few times and the excellent menu never disappoints. The food has a genuine Italian style, and regular specials make use of the available produce. The marinara was generous and filled with mussels. The gnocchi was just the right texture and my son enjoyed his pizza. There have a wood fired pizza oven and a man who knows how to use it. The course flour used really works for the base.

I’m usually a big fan of barbuto, but not on this occasion. It’s been few months since our last visit and seems like maybe the owners have changed.
We came for a lunch at a not too busy time, we ordered a carafe of wine except it seemed to have been forgotten, we had to remind them.
The table was sticky, my arms were stuck to it as was the napkin which when I lifted it it was partially attached to the table. The ketchup pot was also stuck and when I went to lift it due to the resistance it went over the table.
But what topped off the disaster of this visit had to be that my favourite dish the affogato had had its vanilla bean ice cream replaced by an inferior product. I look forward to the vanilla bean ice cream and it was no more. As maybe my future visits.

We ate here while my daughter celebrated her birthday with friends nearby.
The menu choices sounded delicious, however I did think they were pricey. I ordered the Moroccan Spiced Chargrilled Vegetables with chickpea and cous cous salad. I didn't think the cost reflected the dish. I was actually a little disappointed by it. Although it was tasty, it didn't wow me.
My friend ordered the three tacos and also said it was nice, but it didn't wow her.
The staff were polite and didn't rush us out the door which was nice as we were chatting for a while after eating. Service was a little slow.
