Ribs smoked to perfection. Very meaty. Choice of three sauces. I went with Memphis style. A little pricey, but actually split meal with someone, and because they were so meaty -- brought some home too. Service was friendly, but not especially good.

We are a full service 68 seat restaurant in an unpretentious setting. Chef owned and operated since 2005. Eclectic menu leans toward French with a southern accent. Menu is seasonal with local items when we can get them and EVERYTHING is made in-house. We offer a range of selections for both the cautious and adventurous diner. Wine list of about 75 offerings with representations spanning the globe, including a handful of local N.Georgia wines. Full bar, crafting cocktails.
Food is average, prices are pricey, service is slow and owners don't care what you hear. Nothing about it is creme del la creme! Just an average restaurant, run by mom and pop, pretending to be 5-star. Don't waste your time or money, go somewhere else.

Papa's Place Family Restaurant is a family owned restaurant with the feel of your neighborhood diner. Started in 2014 by Dawn Powell and her daughter, Katlin, the restaurant strives to treat each customer as family. Trying to create a gathering around the table with people you love as it has gone by the wayside. We hope that you will join our family today and enjoy a "home cooked meal" with people you love!
We had breakfast there. I had waffles, bacon, grits, eggs and toast... Others had french toast, biscuits and gravy, etc...Everyone LOVED their breakfast as well. Big portions, fast service! I think Toni was our server.. and she was fantastic!
The prices were great too! If you leave there hungry... it's your own fault!

We have passed this place several times and never stopped because the timing wasn't right. We were in the area again and decided to have lunch here. It is a neat place with racing memorabilia everywhere to look at while waiting for your food. There is a lot of NASCAR Bill Elliot's history to see if you are one of his fans. Our server was great and also friendly. I had the Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes Special - very good! One of my friends had the burger which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Even though some consider this a fast food restaurant- we love the filets and rib. I ask for my ribs with a crispie top and they come out perfect. Free bread is warm and tasty.
Sweet potatoes a must and if you are really Hungary - get the calamari appetizers.
Don't go on Friday lunch - they are swamped with take out.
Now they even have specials.

We were in town for the Moonshine Festival and wanted a place to sit down and enjoy a meal. There were three children and four adults in our group. We were seated quickly and our server was quick to acknowledge us. She was very friendly and attentive. The garlic knots were delicious and so was the pizza. We enjoyed our lunch completely. We would return again.

I called ahead, as we have a gluten allergy kiddo, and were told that we could order a la carte for him. However, upon being seated, we were not offered a menu and were told that the buffet was our only option. The only thing he could eat on the buffet was salad and some sort of cheese covered steak. He barely are two bites and burst out in tears from having no good choices but our waiter did bring him ice cream as a gluten free dessert option. We were charged full price for his meal and, upon paying our check, I saw that there was a menu he could of ordered off of! To add insult to injury, out buffet meal was extremely sub-par. The chocolate cake tasted like freezer and nothing had flavor. Our younger son ate crackers, two rolls, and tried one bite of under cooked stuffed shells. Our bill was $66 for an extremely disappointing meal. Our

This place was recommended to us, so we had to try it. BBQ in a very unlikely spot, but we were very happy. We went for dinner (same prices all day). They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at modest prices...Our group tried the barbeque pulled pork sandwiches, the Brunswick stew, fries, onion rings, collard greens, green beans and hush puppies. All of it was sooooo good. The VERY BEST onion rings ever. Bar none! Friendly, helpful staff too!
