My dining Experience at Elisabeths was truly excellent. Situated a couple of blocks from the town center in Fairhaven, Elizabeths occupies an old historic harborfromt structure. The pace was fairly crowded on a recent Friday nite. The waitress was friendly and knowlegeable about all things offered. I bough t a delicious burger, with sauteed peppers and onions, cheddar chese nd a strip of bacon. Cook exactly correct. My wife ha teh Hddock special which was so large she brough a portion of it home for lunch on Saturday. The French fries served at Elizabeths are some of the best I have ever had. Give this place a try. It is EXCELLENT !!!!

What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.
Joe's is our favorite local restaurant...by far. We go there frequently for lunch, & have always been delighted with the creativity, freshness, & quality of everything we've had. IMHO--they have some of the best salads around. My fave is the "Super Crunch", some of which often goes home with me. The pork belly ramen dish was fabulous! Service is ALWAYS A+. Everyone on staff is warm, welcoming, efficient, & helpful. They obviously have a very positive attitude about their customers, & go out of their way to do things right...& to do the right thing. We often wonder why other places can't do the same... (Maybe NYAJ's should do seminars on "service".) It's a strong recommendation we give to all for dining, snacking, etc at Joe's.

Brick is a Napoletana pizzeria. We strive to replicate the type of pizza served in Naples, Italy. Our dough is made with '00' Caputo flour, local water, sea salt, and our own sour dough starter, simple! Our sauce only uses DOP San Marzano tomatoes and a pinch of sea salt to bring out the unique flavor of these classic Italian gems. We hand stretch our own mozzarella daily from local curd (Shy Brothers in Westport, MA check them out!). In addition to pizza we offer fresh salads, some appetizers, calzones, and flatbread sandwiches that we bake off fresh every morning.
My husband, son and I had dinner here. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The guys enjoyed the beer as well.

No Problemo is a quirky, funky, no frills Mexican restaurant. It has a feeling of authenticity compared to most. You won't find fajitas or margaritas for that matter, as it's beer & wine only. What you will find is inexpensive, Burritos, Quesadillas, Taquitos & Tacos, including "Super Tacos" (highly recommended)

The selection of meats was amazing...and the salad bar was very good as well. The marinated mushrooms were AMAZINGLY good. Best advice: go hungry and eat slowly! The grilled pineapple w honey sauce was good enough for dessert.

The waitress was super helpful in answering all of my questions. The restaurant has "Build Your Own Burger". Everything extra is a charge. So a 6.50 burger becomes an 8.50 burger. My pickle cost 50 cents. I was willing to pay a dollar for carmelized onions. The hamburger was so delicious. They have several specialty burger combos. Other protein items are also available. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. Parking is very limited, but paid parking is available on Elm. This town is full of history.

I prefer brunch to dinner here as it's more informal and the old breakfast favorites are done to perfection with farm-fresh (mostly local) ingredients. Good service, outside seating option, interesting wine list, and uncommon recipes make for a memorable occasion.

I was in New Bedford for several days doing some research, so I was taking all my meals in restaurants. Destination Soups was the only restaurant I found myself visiting multiple times. The soups are really hearty and come in two serving sizes, 12 oz and 16 oz. I found myself pairing my soup with and sandwich, and they have many interesting choices. They have a whole menu of "grilled cheese," although what I had were grilled sandwiches, with plenty of meat, and some cheese. Excellent. The salads also looked substantial and excellent, but I found myself wanting to taste every soup on the menu. If this were in a major city like SF or NYC, the lines would be a block long and all the patrons would bow in order to be served. What a find. Much else in town is pretty average.

My family and I eat here at least once a month but we have never had takeout from here since I am not a huge fan of takeout. It was freezing out and I didn't want to drag my 4 year old out so we decided to try taking out. As we were eating dinner I look at my husband and asked him why we hadn't done this sooner. I got the taco salad and it tasted just as good as I always does( I was afraid the shell was going to be all soggy) and my husband got the chorizo and steak burrito and he said it was excellent as well. They even enclosed chips and salsa in the bag which was an extra bonus because it is my favorite around. I can't wait to takeout again!
