The Russel Tavern Bistro is open 7 days per week for both Lunch and Dinner. We offer a range of dining options from light snacks like flash fried 60 Second Calamari to foods that will fill the hungriest of bellies like the Mega Mixed Grill.
Visited the restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of friends who had dined the night before. Extensive menu with a chef's menu specials board available also. Plenty of choice, great meals, service was really good - efficient and friendly. Prices were on par for a hotel restaurant and the food came out fast. Delivers value for money and would accomodate all types of menu options.

Friend referred me to this place because I love indian food!Normaly I have indian in Chinchilla but thougt I give them a go. I'm always on search for good indian restaurant. Staff was friendly but food was very average.Had vindaloo prawns it supose to be the hottest curry it wasn't even mild!!Sauce was running, rice just steamed, and rotti bread supose to be flaky it was more like thin pizza. And the place is lucking ambience! Love giving great review but not this time:( sorry

This place is a real asset for Dalby, to get quality takeaway food with an authentic taste, comparing well with big city offerings. Location is central but with easy parking and close to most motels.

Welcome to Mary's Commercial Hotel - one of oldest and most legendary pubs on the Western Downs. Set on the main street of Dalby, Mary's is a local icon - where you'll still find traditional country pub hospitality. It's a place to meet your friends - new and old, a place for great meals, and a place to host your next function. Named after publican Mary Barry, who owned the pub for almost 60 years until her passing in 2010.
Very extensive menu with dining in either front area of old hotel building or new undercover but open air extension. Order at counter and meals brought to table. Spoilt for choice so there should be something for anyone. Enjoyed our meals and would return again. Very family friendly.

This was a stay for a business trip and it was a clean, fresh motel room . Slept wonderfully this night as I'd had a long day travelling and networking .
The restaurant is very rustic and well priced. I had the lamb cutlets and the portion was great value for money. Breakfast the next day was the same in terms of value and serving. I'd definitely stay again.

My wife and I decided to have some "us" time, and went to the Coffee Club early one Saturday morning. Even though it was a brisk morning, we chose to sit in the covered area outside the building and enjoy the winter sun. My Big Breakfast was a good portion size, and my wife was able to have a modified menu item to cater for her dietary needs. The service was excellent. Not in your face, not syrupy, but warm, friendly and there when you needed it. I consider a breakfast such as this a rare treat, as I find the pricing around the limit I would pay for this, but on balance, it did offer good value for money.

Not a lot of choice in Dalby for fresh and tasty breakfasts, even less so for alfresco. This one's very good, with a wide choice of meals. Coffee was very good also. Only complaint is they're a bit slow with the service......it wasn't all that busy when we were there so no obvious resson for slowness.
