Dagenham (/ˈdæɡənəm/) is a town in east London, England. In the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, it is 11.5 miles (18.5 km) east of Charing Cross and 9.5 miles (15.2 km) east of the City of London. Historically in Essex, it was an agrarian village and remained mostly undeveloped until 1921, when the London County Council began construction of the large Becontree estate. The population of the area significantly increased in the 20th century, with the parish of Dagenham becoming an urban district in 1926 and a municipal borough in 1938. It has formed part of Greater London since 1965 and is a predominantly residential area, with some areas of declining industrial activity, including the Ford Dagenham plant. The southern part of Dagenham, adjacent to the River Thames, forms part of the London Riverside section of the Thames Gateway redevelopment area.

We have been using Bekash for take away and the odd eat-in experience for many years now. We recently had a break from them (not because we were in any way unhappy) and used another local curry house. It was convenient to use them again in the last month and the food was as we remembered - fresh and tasty and not too greasy or heavy. And the staff were happy to see us again and did not make us feel bad for not having been for a while but appeared genuinely pleased to see us. We will definitely continue to use them. Great food.

This is a good old fashioned restaurant, the food was quiet good ,the staff were lovely , and the table was cleared after each course, they brought round the dessert trolley , and I wanted strawberries and meringue I watched them disappear as the trolley went round and when it got to our table they had all gone, but the staff went and made me a fresh one lovely thank you

Well located restaurant in the centre of town. Friendly attentive staff with a nice atmosphere. Very popular so can get very noisy if large groups of people. Nice range on the menu and had excellent Thai fish cakes and red chicken curry for mains. Really nice selection of ice cream available.

Had family lunch for 8 (5 adults 3 children) here on Sunday, Atmosphere and service were good, the food (mainly pizza) was lovely, portions were big, and ridiculously cheap. The prawn linguine was delicious!

I visited Casa Italians with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I must say you eat real Italian food in this restaurant, with large and tasteful portions at a very reasonable price.
The chef, Carlos Torresi has even written books about his recipes. He is a top chef.
The people who work at this restaurant are very friendly.
It was my first time here with my family but we will carry on coming back to try the extensive menu they have.
I recommend highly Casa Italiana to you all.

The buffet food at Indian restaurants aren't usually that awesome, for £6.95 you'd expect standard food, but this food had my taste buds dancing. It's delicious, brought out freshly cooked wings and each plate I had got demolished. Spicy, flavorful and brilliant customer service. Definitely will go again!! Thank you team :)

Went for an early evening dinner on a Sunday night.
Quiet at first but soon became very busy.
Very large menu helpfully divided into sections - fish, chicken pork etc.
Very good quality dishes and generous portions giving excellent value for money.
Useful wine list though not cheap.
Friendly and helpful staff.

I ordered lamb shish over cooked, couldn't even cut it with the knife. Rice wasn't nice, I've had better Turkish food. Came home and had a stomach ache, customer service was good, very attentive. Food was poor quality compared to other Turkish restaurants I've been to
