First time here, stopped on way home from church. Home style seating with bright cherry atmosphere. Good service and food. I tried the fried shrimp which were very tasty. Everyone seemed to know each other and weren't shy about greeting us we walked in. Family friendly, quiet and clean. Will definitely go back.

Niffers is okay. The food is typical bar and casual food. Do not go on Sunday if you would like a beer or glass of wine.Thank you for your review! You must not have visited recently. We have been able to serve alcohol on Sundays for almost a year now! Come back and enjoy a glass of wine or beer on Sunday at the Lake!!

Chuck's Marina and their restaurant, Chuckwalla's is a very well know location on Lake Martin.
Four of us arrived by boat to have lunch. We got two Acapulco Rock pizzas. You place your order at one window and when your order is ready you pick your food up at a second side window. The pizzas were ready in a timely manner. They were hot from the oven and delicious. There was a large crowd there for lunch. It is one of the few dog friendly eateries on the lake so it is often crowded. We enjoyed our lunch and then left to enjoy beautiful Lake Martin. Chuck's is a great asset to lake life.

They serve delicious made from scratch pizza. All the ingredients used are fresh. They have a variety of different pizzas from your typical pepperoni pizza to a buffalo chicken pizza. It is worth the drive to have this pizza. We always receive excellent customer service and delicious pizza. They also serve salads, knots (rolls) and cinnamon rolls all made from scratch. They also offer a $5 lunch with includes 2 slices of pizza and a drink.

Two couples came for a late lunch after reading the positive reviews. I can't understand what they experienced. We started with the ultimate nachos, they were ok but the cheese sauce was cold. For entrees we had catfish, cajun pasta and hamburger steak. The catfish was over battered with frozen hushpuppies that arrived late. The cajun pasta was very cold and horrible. My hamburger steak, which I ordered medium, was a quarter pound of black crunchy charcoal and my baked potato was very cold. The hamburger steak was $15! My wife had a wedge salad that was only $5 and she enjoyed it. The tea was so weak that it looked like dirty water. The outdoor area looks fun but do NOT eat here. Also could clean the floors.

We stopped in for dinner as we were driving through after reviewing previous feedback about La Posada Mexican Grill. We had drinks at the table with a couple of minutes, chips and salsa before that! The food was about what you'd expect, all fresh but outstanding quality.
Be sure to ask for other sauce selections. We asked for something hotter than the salsa and they brought out 4 different varieties that were so good! All fresh ingredients. Two were very hot.

While one may expect to eat a hot dog of some kind, actually this place offers a whole lot more! The sandwich offerings are many, but on Friday/Saturday Nights there are special dinners in the evening that include grilled steaks and pork chops. Prime rib is some of the best I have ever eaten anywhere! The service can sometimes be relaxed due to the crowds who fill the seating to capacity on Friday and Saturday evenings rather early (6 PM).

We went to Judy's with friends who frequent it very often and really liked the food and service. Waitress was very friendly and engaging. Shrimp and catfish (blackened) were very tasty. This is a small town restaurant which it lived up to every expectation. We would definitely go back.

We love to go to Louie’s on Thursday, Friday or Saturday night because they serve whole catfish and it is delicious! They have great chicken fingers and wings too! They also serve vegetables sides, like turnip greens and purple hull peas, along with the usual sides of French fries, etc. Vegetables are just a nice change from the usual fast food choices. We go to the Louie’s in Dadeville at Walnut Hill. Not sure if they serve the catfish at their Auburn location.

Lake Martin's place for home cooked meals since 2005. We offer a full range of breakfast items, made-to-order sandwiches and burgers, and a daily changing lunch buffet.
One of my favorite Breakfast places to eat. I've eaten here several times and never have been disappointed. It's what older folks remember as an ole fashion "mom and pop" dinner. The food is good, the waitresses pleasant, and prices reasonable. Come join them and...MoreThank you for your review! We are glad you enjoy our offerings and wonderful staff. We look forward to serving you again in the future!
