We have relatives that have lived in this area for years. And one of the best things about this area is a restaurant called Joseph's. And the most famous thing (for us) about Joseph's is the tabouly. (That's their spelling so please don't correct me.) Whenever we have been there and they've had food catered for events, our relatives always use Joseph's and always have the tabouly. I think there would be a revolt if they didn't have that. So this time, we got there one evening and were asking my wife's cousin about places to eat in Cushing for dinner. She recommended Naifeh's and said that the owners of Joseph's had sold it and now owned Naifeh's and that they had the "original" Joseph's tabouly. I don't know the whole story behind that or if it's true but we went there for dinner. It turned out to be right next door to our hotel (Best Western) so we actually walked there for dinner.
The restaurant was pleasant and clean. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food. We each got a soda, an order of tabouly and I had a gyro and my wife had the grilled chicken wrap. They each came with an order of homemade potato chips. The total for that was $21.82. The cousin had said that it was a little bit pricey and while I thought $3.49 was a little much for an order of tabouly, I didn't think the total was out of line. YMMV.
The tabouly was as good as we remembered. I could have eaten just that. The gyro was very good as well. Thinly sliced meat, just a little crunch to bits of it. Good sauce and lettuce and tomato were fresh. I liked the homemade chips but my wife wasn't impressed. She enjoyed her wrap though and she said the wrap itself was thin which she liked.
If we were back in Cushing again, I'd gladly return to Naifeh's. And whatever I had, it would have a side of tabouly with it.:-)

I counted 21 tables in the dining area, and 19 were dirty. If they had been even remotely busy, this might have been understandable, but there were four customers in the place. Staff members were standing behind the counter with their hands in their pockets, talking to each other. The women's restroom was absolutely disgusting. It honestly reeked as if people had been going in and urinating on the floor. I will NEVER return!

When you go before 7 a.m. you will get some of the best doughnuts you've ever had. The apple fritters are delicious, too, along with the sausage rolls. However, things seem to get stale fast. Also, the coffee is not good. I recommend the drive through, as the inside is cramped and sterile.

I love this place, the staff is so friendly they are working their butts off to get the ppl what they need! Salsa isn't so good but the cheese sauce is ok but the enchiladas make up for it. The Margaritas are pretty god too! I would recommend to a friend

We were visiting antique stores in the area and decided to have lunch. I'd narrowed it down to the two top rated restaurants in town, but the owner of the antique shop recommended this. We decided to go here and we will definitely be going back. It's better than any Mexican in Stillwater and actually some of the best I've had in Oklahoma. The salsa was fresh and delicious, the food was authentic and so good, very fresh produce and good spices. We had a delicious margarita also. The service was terrific. I will be driving into town just to eat here!

My wife and I have visited Sunny Side Up many times for breakfast. . Never had lunch, but breakfast is excellent. It is a quaint little Diner with a comfortable atmosphere. Staff is always friendly. As others have said, service can be a tiny bit unattentive or slow at times, but this is not always the case and never an issue that causes us frustration. They do have some items with a Mexican flare. My favorite is Roy's Breakfast Choice, which is 2 eggs over easy on top of a flat cheese enchilada, choice of meat (I get bacon), choice of potatoes (I love the Mexican potatoes with their home made salsa...wonderful), and either toast or tortillas (I go with the tortillas). We are always happy with the food and this is our favorite breakfast destination in Cushing.

Small little place. It's always packed but breakfast is so good there. It's old but can't beat the waitress or the food for the price and always a full belly when you're done.

We stopped in for dinner as we were traveling. The buffet had plenty of hot food and the server kept our drinks filled. They had the typical Chinese buffet offerings, but the price was very reasonable.

Steer Inn is a family owned restaurant founded in 1969 by Oliver Kinzie. We offer full service dining and carryout. We offer full service catering services. You cannot beat our chicken fried steak, catfish, or jalapeno chicken. Come see us!!
I had the pleasure of eating lunch here and was not disappointed. Customer service is great my server Tabitha was fantastic. They have an open menu and also a home cooking type of buffet with salad bar. This afternoons buffet included pork chops, beef tips and fried chicken. The menu options were extensive, everything from your typical diner food to country style dinner plates. They even had a gentlemen walking around offering up their deserts on a tray that you could choose from if interested. If you happen to be in the area and not sure what your hungry for, this place gives you a great selection to choose from and the buffet will not disappoint.

McDonald's has always been one of my favs, for sure. --Gotta admit having them in the UK is a blessing as well!
While I was here, I ate at McDonald's far more than the others. Quick & easy to run in a grab a double cheeseburger, fries, large soda & frozen Mocha coffee!
Some of their new menu items are pretty good as well, as are their breakfasts.
Not sure if it was a 'special' or anything, but when the kiddos were with me, It was a relief to pick up the $15 deal with the 2 burgers, 2 large orders chicken nuggets & fries. Great food & affordable!
The only problems I encountered was when you get a new HS student or something, as I've had a few mix-ups on my orders, so I advise to check what you ordered before you leave.
