Stopped in here for Breakfast on the way thru Thanksgiving weekend. I got a courteous welcome and a comfortable booth and a pleasant server, grabbing coffee and juice.
Like me at that time of the morning (8ish) there was a lot of singles passing through and families starting to come in for sunday pancakes.
Nice diner, friendly staff. A really nice find just off the highway.

Had lunch during a recent day trip to Wesleyen University. The atmosphere is urban/industrial and is family and kid friendly. We went in expecting typical pizza shop fare, but found a complete Italian menu with something for every appetite. The food was delicious and the portions are huge.

Only English-style Tea Room & Gift Shoppe in Central Connecticut. Come relax & make memories while enjoying Afternoon Tea.
The tea room is a hidden shop on Main Street that is easy to miss, but worth seeking out. They have every tea flavor and tea accessory imaginable, and also serve wonderful baked goods. It's a great place to visit.

This was a gathering of friends and the evening was very nice. The rooms are a bit crowded and rather noisy but the food is good and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers and the wine list, which was varied and reasonably priced.

Zerio's is a local favorite for Pizza, Soups, Salads, Paninis and Deli Sandwiches.
We didn't eat in we took it to go but staff was very friendly and helpful . Servings were huge and delicious I had the thanksgiving panini and would definitely recommend it to all it was enough for 2 meals which I did because I could not eat it all at the first sitting

The prices seemed a little high for what you got. All meals are over $10pp. Seating is outside, so hopefully the weather is good. I believe most of their business is run through take out. The take out area is indoors, but there are only a couple of tables to sit at. If you are coming with a group, there is a lot of seating outside, but this will only work well in warmer months. Service was slow. Came here for lunch and there were not many other tables, but service was still very slow.

For years, I have lived just a few miles from this gem but never stopped there. Finally, last week, my wife and I went there on a whim, no .....a raging desire for one of their steamed cheeseburgers. So, we made our way through the crowd waiting for a table and secured places at the counter , right across from the pass through window to the kitchen. Getting down to business, I looked through the menu, searching diligently for my cheeseburger. Nothing. Only Breakfast. When I asked the waitress, she smiled and said, " Only thing we make on the weekend is breakfast. " Really !. So when in doubt make the best of it. And we already had a great breakfast ( I know....I made the omelettes...) . After researching the offerings, we discovered the mini raspberry pancakes with whipped cream and homemade raspberry jam. I spiced it up a bit and also had sliced andouille sausage on the side. WOW ! Now I know why folks love this spot. We are returning soon, though, but during the week so that I can get my cheeseburger. BTW, just a hint, don't be tied to eating in a booth. The Counters offer another perspective. Yes, we made a mistake and loved doing it !!!

My in laws live in Cromwell and so I visit frequently. I wish I had found this gem sooner for several reasons. First, its different, not your average sandwich shop. Second, love crepes yet never make them for myself.
There are several varieties you can get, dessert or breakfast or more hearty with meat or vegetables. The portions are generous. We usually get a few and share them because its hard to decide what to get, they are all excellent and can be customized. They also do offer a gluten free option as well.

i usually don't review a restaurant after only one visit, but based on my experience and the other reviews, i feel a review is warranted. baci is a casual, inexpensive restaurant. service is prompt and very courteous. portions are really large. for an appetizer, we had the lobster, corn and red pepper fritters, which were delicious. we ordered the grilled salmon from the small plates section of the menu; the portion was probably close to 1/2 lb. of salmon, along with spinach and rice. we also ordered the pork tenderloin, which was also quite large, and is served with roasted potato wedges and string beans. we were too full for dessert! there is a good, reasonably priced wine list. we will be returning to baci when we are in the area again.
