We went exploring and after getting several recommendations we decided to stop here for a burger....we were told they were old fashioned home made hand pressed hamburgers bigger than the bun hamburgers - no to all of the above....not hand made and not bigger than the bun. The best thing was the grilled onions on the burger and the beer battered fries. Don't be in a hurry - not fast food...

Kip's Grill is a Baja Taqueria serving fresh squeezed juice drinks and hand made tacos and salsas. We also serve wild game burgers, amazing fresh squeezed margaritas and great bottled and tap beer. Enjoy our large outdoor patio, our game room, our cozy downstairs or our upstairs Sky Lounge with the best views in town. Live music during the summer.
Open 7 days, friendly, good food and drinks. Beer selection made my husband very happy. I thought it very odd to have a Philly cheesesteak on the menu in a tiny town in Colorado, but it was as good as any I have had at...MoreThanks for coming in! I'm from Philly and I agree about your Geno's comment! Hope to see you guys again.

The Tommyknocker Tavern was established in 1999 by a group of locals in the historic mining town of Creede, Colorado. Over the last thirteen years, it has grown to be a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, featuring great live music all summer and fun local events throughout the winter! The Tavern's restaurant (The BBQ Bistro) serves great food in the casual setting of this historic Creede building with a spacious back patio. Delicious sandwiches, salads and our famous BBQ Ribs go great with our selection of both locally and globally brewed beers.
We sat on the patio out back with a view of the mountains (and a few telephone wires). The smoked pork on the Cuban sliders was fall apart delicious and an indicator of what their BBQ and ribs must taste like. Quick, efficient service.

We have been coming to stay & eat at there restaurant for more than 10 years. The food & service has always been superb. We have recommended it to dozens of friends. Oh well, the service was OK after it finally started. Four of us sat 10 minutes and never saw our server. The hostess came to get a drink order.... 5 minutes later it arrived. The food was alright, but underwhelming. First, 4 of the items on. The limited menu were not available. In the past we left with praises, not this time. Two got salmon and didn't finish it because it was so fishy. None of us thought it was near as good.

Open-air hot dogs, hamburgers and fries. The place stays busy and the open grill adds an inviting fragrance to the area. Not a culinary experience but sitting out in the mountain air and enjoying the parade of people while eating lunch was fun.

This restaurant has delicious home-cooked food. We like to go there for breakfast. Their breakfast food is to die for. They will also make a sack lunch for you if you are going hiking. What a great idea! The waitress is always very attentive and does a great job.

Stopped for lunch with a friend. I had the Turkey, provolone, green Chile and avocado on soft Kaiser roll...it was wonderful. I've never had a roll like that before. The whole sandwich tasted so unique with that combination. My friend had the Marsha Special which was Turkey, provolone and bacon....so yummy.
The restaurant is very tiny with only 5-6 tables. The mother takes the orders, her daughter is the cook along with 2 helpers and the dad cleans up the tables. Nice team...very efficient. I will certainly be returning to this delightful cafe again.

We were in Creede with family, and pizza seemed to be something that would satisfy us all. The pizza here was surprisingly good, and there were a lot of interesting options. Our server was from the Czech Republic doing a work exchange program. He was an excellent server and an interesting person. We definitely recommend this place!

Over the years we've eaten at Cascada and had varying results - most good! 4 stars are because of the higher prices. The staff is very attentive most of the time - they are international students working in America for the summer. Tonight I think they were short staffed but even so, our waitress was very nice, attentive, and even brought me an extra side of guacamole when I complained about the portion size of the Queso and Guacamole combo appetizer (for $12). Both were very good. I posted a picture. The House margaritas were also very good.
I ordered the Carne Asana street tacos and my husband ordered the Tamal Pie (picture). My husband loved the Tamal plate which was served with a salad with lime-cilantro vinaigrette and black beans. My street tacos were good but not great. No beans or rice with these - for $12 - too expensive for just two tacos. Tres Leches fried ice cream for dessert. Also good.
