Boasting almost exclusively Mediterranean Revivalist buildings and urban planning following the City Beautiful movement, Coral Gables is an elegantly laid out, pedestrian-friendly city boasting tropical foliage, charming boutiques and architectural grandeur. Historic landmarks such as the Biltmore Hotel and Merrick House provide a document of the history of the City Beautiful, while the crystalline Venetian Pool provides relaxation in a setting of exquisite beauty.

Italian fine dining our way. Hosted by Beto DiCarlo, chef and 3rd generation restaurateur. Come join us for Italian traditional family recipes in a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Excellent. The veal was superb. The pasta with porchini mushrooms was sublime. Our server, the owners son, was attentive and had great suggestions for our enjoyment. The complimentary chocolate mouse cake (his
Grandma’s recipe) was melt on your tongue delicious. We are Canadian and welcomed the opportunity to sit outside on the sidewalk patio with twinkle lights and charm. Reminded us of Italy in a small mountain top town. Don’t miss a chance to partake of this delightful “forget-I-am-in-Florida eatery. Just wow. We will be back.

Come and enjoy the Authentic Taste of Spain in the beautiful city of Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. Enjoy live music every Friday night and a Flamenco Show once a month. Visit our website for details.
Belmont Restaurant is not a fancy restaurant filled with expensive art and artifacts yet gives you the feeling that it should. Instead there are pictures of the owners family. It’s very easy to find on the main artery of Gables. Service is good, food is very well presented and prepared and the owners are there to make sure you have a great time and enjoy coming back, just like we did. Sergio and Claudia will open their arms to make you feel at home.

This is an excellent restaurant with quality service and food that is high quality and prepared to perfection. Even our 4 and year old children liked the place and enjoyed the steak. The waiters were attentive and during the meal the manager came over to ensure everything was to out satisfaction. The experience was lovely and we were able to take our time. As far as the steaks are concerned, all 4 people were really happy with the way our respective steaks were prepared. Fleming's is a cut above most places in the Gables.

Mexico.... home of Talavera, the unique fine art pottery from the 16th Century, native of the city of Puebla.

This genuine and refined Mexican spirit of the Talavera art sets the ground for the spirit of our menu. Went for dinner. Missed happy hour, but will definitely return to try. Got seated in the absolute worst table in the house by the bathroom and hall where all the excess supplies were stacked. Do the bathroom was pretty much our view. I regret not just moving to the bar even though other tables were available. I just tried to focus on my husband. Liked the space and decoration. They had the strolling Mariachi guys and although really loud, they were excellent. Unfortunately they stopped at our table just as our food was to arrive so we waited until they were finished to begin , so the food was cold. Our server didn’t return and my dish was supposed to come with rice and beans , so I didn’t get them until I asked and had finished eating. No apology or anything. He just threw them on the table and walked away. We were never asked if we needed another beverage. My tacos were fine, not outstanding. My husband’s flank steak with crispy potatoes was excellent, but the dish seemed to be missing something like some tortillas or a slice of bread or a vegetable. No offers for desert. I think we just got a bad server, so I will definitely give them another chance. It was so dark that my photos didn’t take well. It is within walking distance to my husband’s work apartment and that was convenient.

An Icon of Miami simple food, the Cuban Frita is the Cuban interpretation of a hamburger. Casual Family friendly environment that wants to make you part of our family. Welcome Home !
Good Lil joint at shopping strip along busy 8th street with limited and challenging parking. Parking may be found at an adjacent shopping strip. Welcoming staff specially professional server “Maria” who suggested yummy sauces for the star of the show “the Cuban Frita!”. A frita is made of secretive blend of meat and chorizo with tasty spices. I went with the traditional other version are available including with cheese. The frita is served on soft delicious roll filled with lil potato sticks and a tasty red sauce. Honestly ordering one is not enough they are that good - had I not been alone I would had ordered two but was embarrassed to take responsibility for what would appeared as overeating, (lol). Maria offered a small cup of chicken soup to go with frita and I was glad I took her advised while I was enjoying the delicious Cuban hot & fresh chicken soup. They offer traditional Cuban dishes: Friday’s cod fish in creole sauce served with white rice; Saturday Cuban Ajiaco served with fresh chicharrones - ajiaco is a typical Cuban comfort food; stew of delicious root veggies and beef, yum! Bottom line, place offers abundant delicious meal choices. My meal was less than $10 and great! You want home style Cuban fare go here, don’t expect fancy just good food and service. By the way “EL MAGO” himself sat at counter overseeing the operation and talking to a regular about everyday stuff; he’s the owner since the 80’s.
