Concord's historic Main Street area is home to various sites of cultural significance, including Railroad Square, the Eagle hotel, which hosted such notable guests as Eleanor Roosevelt and Richard Nixon, The Pierce Manse, former home of President Franklin Pierce, and the State House, the oldest state capitol in which the legislature meets in its original chambers. Far more than the sum of its history, Concord boasts a popular planetarium, plentiful performing arts and an international speedway.

I have frequented Angelina's over the past 10 years. I've had a lot of experience dining out all over the country and I can say with confidence, that this place has excellent Italian food. Food recommendations: Osso Bucco if you can get it, chicken parmesan, and bolognese. The olive butter for the rolls is so good and most meals come with soup or salad. They have gluten free options here too that are probably the best I've ever had. A couple of things to keep in mind since this is a very small restaurant:
1. You need to make a reservation in advance. Don't expect to walk in and get a table. Its a small establishment and because of this, they need to plan their week accordingly. I've found that if I call a week in advance, its relatively easy to get a reservation for the time you're looking to dine.
2. Expect to take your time while eating. This is not going to be the place for you to come if you are expecting your food to be thrown together at lightning speed.
3. Don't pass on dessert. Their desserts are all amazing. They even do a really good version of a cannoli most nights that comes close to the good stuff in Boston.

Been awhile since we had been in, but it’s as good as ever. They make some of the best roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. Their onion rings are fresh homemade and are delicious. Their staff is excellent. This is a place to go again and again!

We had a lovely meal here with family. We are from out of town..... so finding a nice place for dinner is important when you have up to 10 people.
This place is consistently good. Great food, great service and we particularly like the half portions as some of us are not big eaters. We think the wine pours are a bit chintzy but other than that we had a great time.

Concord's choice for quality food, top-notch service, and fresh local micro-brews. Located across the street from the State Capitol, The Barley House is a popular spot for business lunches, parties, after-work crowds, and culinary pleasure seekers.
On the way to Vermont with the family and we stopped for lunch at the Barley House. Excellent choice. Most important, the Gueiness was poured correctly. Our Banh Mi sandwich was very good. The kids said their mac & cheese and hamburger was good. The atmosphere was very nice and service was great. Parking was a problem but it is across the street from New Hampsires" beautiful capitol.

We visited this sports bar and pub on a Monday night. They had the national championship game on all their TVs - so it was a big plus. They have a good selection of draft beers. And Peanuts to go with it (which is complimentary). The food is pretty good. They have a wide variety of choices, from veggie burgers, veggie quesadillas, crab stuffed haddocks to seafood platters. We had a good time hanging out with food, drinks and a good game,

The Common Man restaurant in Concord, N.H., located in New Hampshire's capital city, offers a variety of options to our guests - from our comfortable expanded lounge, Doc's Primary Pub, and deck areas, to our cozy dining room with crackling fireplaces, and private event rooms for functions. Choose from classic comfort cuisine such as Three Cheese Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Country Meatloaf or our famous Roast Prime Rib.
Took a group here while we were touring NH and were on our way to White Mtns. Convenient off/on to 93 North or South. We had Pot Roast or Apple Walnut Chicken as our choices. Had a starter Green Salad and a delicious cheese and cracker spread. Meals came with potato and vegetable and a blueberry ump cake for dessert. Everything served hot and both dishes very tasty. Service was excellent. Food was great.

If you like Mexican stay away. They have no spices in their food. Food is bland. I love all kinds of food and 6 out of 7 of my friends disliked their meals. We gave them a second chance and it was still awful.

The Works to you: humanely-raised, naturally-cured meats and poultry with no antibiotics or added hormones. Local eggs from cage-free chickens. Hormone- and antibiotic-free milk and cream cheese from Vermont family farms. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches and paninis on artisan bread, wraps or traditional boiled-and-baked bagels made with unbleached, unbromated flour. Fresh salads. Hearty, from scratch soups. Fresh-fruit smoothies. Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee. Thoughtfully sourced, local when possible.
Stopped in for a quick bite on the way out of town. The bagels are excellent with many unique toppings and flavors. The service is quick, the food is fresh and the price is right.
