Great simple concept--good ice cream, not too many flavors, served by friendly people. Seating is outside, and great people watching (all the golf carts cruising by).

We were staying at Massanutten Resort for the week of Oct. 14th and I wanted to have lunch at Denson's for my birthday. It was a 3 hr drive each way that very worthwhile.
Great food, great people and excellent service. The freshest seafood well prepared! If you are in the area you won't go wrong here!

Food is always excellently prepared and the presentation is always fabulous. Many fresh special dishes offered every day. On the bay side of town with a great view of sunsets. The owner, Noi, is very friendly and the service is efficient. Highly recommend.

Fun and enjoyable for all, whether you dine in by candlelight, the pub by the fireplace, on the screened-in porch, in the sand at our picnic tables or at our tiki bar. Live Entertainment & Weekly Specials Year Round!
My friend and I were exploring Colonial Beach and asked one of the local store owners downtown about a good place for lunch that had some waterside atmosphere. She suggested the Dockside, which is a couple miles or so out of town. (Just follow the road parallel to the Potomac, until you can't go any further!) It is nothing fancy, just a come as you are, shorts and t-shirt kind of place where you can sit totally outside, partially outside, or in the very cool air-conditioned dining room. We went for the middle ground, a view of the beach and the "tiki huts" but not all the way outside. We wished that they had installed ceiling fans, as they did on the outside porch, in this part too. The menu has a pretty wide selection of seafood and other dishes. We both went straight for the crab cake sandwich, which comes with a side of either potato salad or cole slaw. We also got a side of hush puppies. The crab cake was a generous ball of flavor, with a good ratio of crab to filler, and overflowed the hamburger bun when squished down to eat. Hush puppies were a little sweet and very rich, studded with kernels of corn and oh, so yummy! We were not into tropical drinks that afternoon, but this would be a good place to relax with one if one was in the mood, as they have a good selection of choices and just the right atmosphere. In short, this was just the thing for a Saturday lunch at the beach!

The service and the food was wonderful. We were a group of 7. We all ordered something different and passed it around, everything was expertly prepared and beautifully garnished. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I will definitely go back again and again. We did not try the French entrees, I am sure they are just as good as the Thai.

I'm on Paleo, so I did not want to go to a pizza restaurant. I was surprised how good it was. I ordered the hot chicken salad. It was huge and awesome. The service was really good.

We were here during the off season, but this was a very nice experience. Reasonable prices and a full view of the Potomac from both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The staff was extremely nice. The only problem was that they did not have any draft beer. Only bottled. Oh well, beer is beer and it is still a very nice place located right on the board walk ( if you want to call it that) with a beautiful view. Cheers.

Four Seasons Restaurant is a Family Owned Business. We have been located in Colonial Beach a little over a year now. We have a full menu and we do offer breakfast all day long. We have a full bar so come join us for a cocktail, we do have the best drink prices on the beach. We look forward to serving you and your family. Thank you from the management and staff of the Four Seasons Restaurant
We visited Colonial Beach for a week, and tried a few restaurants, but quickly came to the conclusion that the Four Seasons was an excellent choice and we would stick to it. Excellent food, excellent friendly service, large portions. There were vegetarian choices too - not necessarily true at other restaurants.

It's been over 30 years since last visit. The crabs were bigger, better, and hotter then, but the place has changed little. Service and hush puppies were still excellent. The building and location seemed different but easy to find and access. However, crossing the street can be precarious. I was not impressed with the seafood buffet, too many fried food items. Stay with a pitcher of beer and the crabs.
