The Anvil Restaurant is a family run restaurant in the heart of Saggart. It prides itself with delicious, locally produced food combined with friendly efficient service. With comfortable surroundings, dining in The Anvil Restaurant is truly a great experience.
We visited the Anvil for dinner recently. The chicken wings, as others have said, are really good. They’re up there with Tribeca’s wings in my opinion for taste. I had chicken supreme for mains which was nice but not amazing and my wife had a pizza which she liked. We ordered a side of chips which were tasty. I did think the food was overpriced for what it was. For example we passed on desserts as they were so expensive. Furthermore, we arrived at 5pm and were told there was no pâté left which seemed strange. The waiter told us the soup was mushroom but then a different soup was put up on the chalkboard and we overheard the table beside being told that this was the soup of the day. A minor complaint but again when they are charging these prices, expectations are a little higher. We enjoyed our meal but I’m not sure I would be rushing back.

Lemongrass Fusion City west is located on the grounds of the magnificent City west hotel. We are a two hundred seat restaurant and all our food is freshly prepared on site by our Malaysian chefs. We do not use MSG or preservatives in our food.
I've eaten in this restaurant a few times and it never disappoints. The choice is good and the quality is excellent. Well worth a visit.

The kitchen table is the heart of the family home, and here at Tom’s Table it is the heart of our hotel. Built, owned and run by the Moran family, Tom’s Table at the Red Cow Moran Hotel is named after the head of our family, Tom Moran. Tom hails from a large family & has a large family himself, so he appreciates as much as anyone how important the family table is, as a means of bringing everyone together. In Tom’s Table, "great food and great company go hand in hand" Renowned for its variety and quality of dining and beverage options, The Red Cow Moran Hotel Dublin is the ideal choice for dining out in Dublin. Tom's Table, formerly known as Winter Garden Restaurant, will continue to be a place for hotel guests aswell as locals to relax, eat and drink and the perfect meeting place for lunch or dinner with friends, family or work colleagues. Tom's Table Restaurant is now open and offers the perfect venue for family gatherings and groups of all sizes.
Had a meal in this restaurant as I was staying in the hotel on business. It's a well laid out setting and had a substantial set menu which is competitively priced all things considered.
I had the duck salad starter which was well balanced albeit that if I was to be critical the duck was overcooked, which I followed with a beautifully cooked and perfectly balanced lamb dish.
However the star of the show for me was the waiting staff who were extremely pleasant polite and attentive. These pleasant ladies spoke me through each menu choice and came to the table during each course to check if everything was ok.
I was most impressed for a hotel setting and they should be applauded.

Award winning bar, restaurant & wedding venue in the Strawberry Beds. Live traditional music 7 nights a week.
We ordered soup and some extra bread on the Bank Holiday Monday. The bread was freezing and the butter was rock hard. The soup took a half an hour to come out. If it was particularly busy I would understand but we were one of the first people in the restaurant. It was obvious the soup order was forgotten, again if it was busy I would understand. My partner ordered a coffee and he received a cup only half full. I ordered a lucozade and sparkling water which both took an unusually long time to come out. We were just about to leave because we were waiting so long for the soup when the waiter came over to tell us they were just heating up the soup. When the soup came out it was lukewarm. Although the decor and fire were lovely which is why I chose 'poor' and not 'terrible'. There was also no acknowledgement for the length of time it took to heat up two bowls of soup. I never thought I would have this much drama ordering some soup and bread. I had heard good things about the restaurant and was very disappointed in the service and food. I don't think I will be making the journey back.

It was actually mild enough to eat outdoors here last week. I started with a yummy chocolate shortbread bar while waiting from my friend to arrive. They had a nice assortment of salads, sandwiches, and Deserts. There were also many coffee and tea drinks (and sodas) to choose from as well that were reasonably priced. Great wifi as well. Very clean, personable, attentive staff.

Never disappointed from a visit to the Waterside. From Sunday carvary or mid week dinner. The food never disappoints. The staff are friendly and children are welcome. This is a great place for Saturday lunch for a catch up with friends or lunch with the family

Good value for money. Good menu choice for mid range priced dining. Portions are a generous size. Restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. The staff were very friendly and informative. Our host Jack was very pleasant.
A lovely nice surprise was they have a SlimmingWorld menu with all dishes and their individual Syns. Wow this alone will bring me back
Other dinners seemed to be enjoying groupon voucher meals with good value for families advertised too.
They also had nice gin and cocktails promotions
Happy to recommend to others
We will return too

Had a very good Sunday lunch here today in the carvery. It’s been a long time since we’ve visited Bewleys (as we still call it) and they have done an absolutely beautiful job revamping the restaurant. It is almost unrecognisable. The carvery menu is very good and we had roast beef and Turkey for mains. Both dishes came with stuffing, mashed and roast potatoes, cabbage and chunky mixed vegetables. Can’t forget the gravy – and we even got some extra in a gravy boat to take to the table. The portions are very generous, food wholesome and delicious and very good value. Just what we needed to bolster us against the bitter winter breeze outside. The Bread and Butter pudding looked very inviting, but we resisted it good today – perhaps next time.

Myself and my partner really enjoyed the food here. We both started with garlic bread, it was simple but tasty. I had the salmon as my main which was delicious. It came with vegetables and baby potatoes which had a lovely bbq taste. My partner had a burger and chips which he thought was lovely. The chips were chunky and fresh looking. Both portion sizes were great. Staff were lovely and the restaurant is lovely inside.
