You know how you find a great place and always think there must be something better, so you keep looking only to find...there's not.
It's the best sushi in town at all 5 or 6 locations. The fish is always fresh and great quality with lots of unique stuff.
Many of the rolls are droll inducing and even just the seaweed salad is delicious.
One of my favorites is the Mel Roll, light rice soy wrapper. It doesn't have a lot of sauce or fillers. It's just packed with salmon, 2 tunas and shrimp. a taste of the sea and really, really good. add wasabi and it turned into a craving food for me.

The Mikuni in Roseville used to be our favorite sushi restaurant in Roseville. Now it has been edged out by Blue Nami, with its half-price sushi roll menu. But we still like Mikuni. It has a very diverse menu with many creative offerings. Our favorite Mikuni is still the flagship Mikuni in Fair Oaks, with more of a neighborhood ambience. Their torched sushi rolls are the bomb, especially the Marilyn Monroll. But I would avoid any rolls that include creamed cheese - not a good fit with seafood.

Sushi is always on point. Highly recommend the Firecracker appetizer. We were a large group, they easily accommodated us. Even helped out with the cake service. Blue Nami never disappoints!

This is a review on Happy Hour at Hawks. We come here for HH to enjoy the small plates and wines. Fresh Pea, Burchetta with Ricotta Cheese, Tempura Asparagus; Caesar Salad and sharing the burger & fries all made for a very enjoyable dinner at Hawks during Happy Hour on a recent visit. Wines by the glass at $ 6 are reasonable but there is limited selection during HH. I would go for the red blend if you are into reds. There is an extensive wine list too if you want to try something else. With about 6-8 seats at the bar and 4-5 small tables- this is a small area - so you will need to come early if you want to sit. Overall experience and service was excellent. IWish there were more restaurants of this quality in the Roseville area!
Dinner Review. Hawks is a nice dinning establishment in Granite Bay with high quality service and attention to detail. Recently celebrated my wife's B-day here. We tried the Hamachi appetizer, Caesar Salad, Slow roasted short ribs, and Halibut. Nice citrus sauce worked well with the Hamachi - although the portion was too small to share. Caesar salad was great, fresh with a touch of anchovy in the creamy cheese dressing- very fresh salad. The Halibut was well prepared - but a small portion for the price. The short rib was a large portion pulled form the bone and pressed together in a generation serving. The flavor was rich - but a little too oily for my taste. Very nice, pleasant dinner experience with serval good wines available by the glass. I wish there were more fish and pasta selections, and a good duck dish on the menu would bring me back .

El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant is family owned and operated for over 32 years. All of our family recipes are made from scratch, and we have no cans in the kitchen. We would like to invite all friends and family to come and enjoy our Authentic Mexican Cuisine. Some of our signature dishes include Molcajete, Carne Asada, and Fajitas. We offer a full service bar to complement your meal with a beverage of your choice, and complete your meal with one of our fantastic desserts. When you walk into our restaurant you are going to notice our fine decor with hand painted murals and fine Mexican art. Our clientele includes business people for lunch, families for dinner, everyone is welcome here. If you would like to enjoy some fantastic family recipes for lunch or dinner, we hope you stop by at El Tapatio and we will take great care of you.

Strip malls don't generally offer much more than the usual fast-food chain junk, so what a delightful surprise Extreme Hummus was for us, despite its goofy name and nondescript location. I don't know how "extreme" it was, but their regular hummus was perfectly delicious; next time, if we are ever in Citrus Heights again (admittedly not a likely scenario) we may try some of the other hummus varieties they offer. The gyro I had was hard to improve on, and though we didn't order them, the "Greek French Fries" looked interesting at the next table. The falafel plate was delicious, and we were back on the road again promptly, feeling well fed and satisfied. We might have been even quicker about it had we used their "drive through" window, but I generally don't like eating a meal in my car.

The Fat’s Asia Bistros are individually handcrafted by our regional culinary legends, the Fat Family. At Fat’s Asia Bistro modern Asian cuisine meets timeless tradition.
The restaurant is quite beautiful but the food is just so so. Our first experience was the same . Lovely atmosphere below average food. Dry cold chow mein noodles. Overly sauced and sweetened Honey Walnut Chicken. Cold plates and Inexperienced server. Had to asked another server for water and soy sauce as ours vanished for several minutes just after we were served. We have given this restaurant two tries and won't be back again.

This restaurant is a family favorite for celebrating birthdays. We like it for many reasons - the food is always good, we can please all but vegetarians with the selection, the booths are big enough to fit five easily, and the service is usually good. I usually get some kind of steak, a vegetable, and potato - the potato soup is very good. And far fewer calories.
Reservations recommended, and practically a necessity on weekends.

One of our favorites places to go. High-end Italian American food. Reservations are recommended. Very nice atmosphere. Patio dining is available. You will not be disappointed!

If you're looking for mid priced steaks this is equal to Outback Steakhouse but much noisier. Halfway through the meal the volume of the music was turned up so loud several people put their hands over their ears. (Sever said someone had requested that song and asked it to be played loud) - no consideration for the rest of the diners!
Rib Eye steak was tough and had a lot of gristle - this is the second location I've tried and have not been impressed with the quality of the food or service.
Only redeeming part of the visit was the decent Margarita.
