This place is famous so I had to visit. The interior is very dark with all the terrifying devil sculptures and painting. Haven't tried food there but bier is interesting. They have their own branded bier which is ok but I much preferred Rzeznik or the fresh beer.

This establishment is literally called "House of Trout", so if you're into trout, this is as good as it's gonna get. It's not expensive and the fish is prepared amazingly good. The best part is, I discovered this place completely by accident as I was on a business trip in Podkarpacie, near the border. There's not much you can do there, admittedly, except for some hiking and sightseeing, but there are a few places worth your time - this is one of them. FOOD!

Seems like Wetlina community is most in line with the times out of villages in the area. This place is excellent. So goes to 'Chata Wędrowca'. Surely owners have a idea what they wanted to do and they executed perfectly. Great place and fantastic food....MoreThank You :))))

Reading some positive comments below I am very much surprised. We are very much disappointed with Pod Kudłatym Aniołem - well, not that we were expecting much anyway.
Interior makes a good impression, the gallery though, with price tags everywhere is unnecessary. In any case - we scanned through the menu, only to learn that some of the items are not available. Menu is huge which would suggest most of the things wait frozen for their turn... First, we have ordered bread with lard for a starter and we got a slice of the worst bread we tasted (kind you can buy in any chain store - already cut and waiting there for a day of two) !!! Next we went for "Pierogi" - three different types. "Bieszczadzkie" were quite good actually, the rest were unconvincing.
Service has been a disaster.. apart from the fact that some items in menu were missing, we were made to wait with dirty dishes after our dinner for 10-15 minutes... needed to dress up and go for a waitress-search venture. When the waitress came to take the order we said "we have a question about Pierogi" - she INTERRUPTED us and said "NO, we do not mix the types!"... ??? We just wanted her to give us more details on the preparation and stuff...
Sorry - totally lost potential. I would NOT recommend this BAR (yes, bar) to anyone. Drive to Smerek (15km east) to eat decent.

We were encouraged to stop there for dinner by its surroundings, very clean, well-kept. The interiors and service were not following, unfortunatelly.
Service was rather slow. We had to show up and remind staff we were sitting there twice. Food was simply... average. Was not bad but absolutely nothing special. Prices not high but also not very attractive.
If you are just hungry and want to get rid off your kids (playing outside, when weather allows it) for some time or not having high expectations - it is definitely worth trying.

The restaurant is a part of pension and offers food as well as accommodation. Inside the building there are lots of trolls! Foods are mostly Polish and they are reasonable and tasty.

The golonka defeated me; kept on eating it the next day (they do give boxes for takeaway); my two companions also brought away theirs; it was plain and VERY nourishing fare. If you have any sense, you'd better take half-portions or share. Also, good local beer on tap. Will be back but more careful! (Still: yum!)

Last time I was there in the summer, it was great:) I mean, fish is fresh, done for you, nothing special added but cause of it's freshness it's sooo good! You need to expect plastic cutlery, plastic plates and outdoor sitting, but that's part of the adventure, right?

The food is more or less OKish, especially when compared only to other restaurants nearby. Unfortunately the service is... much less than passable. There is tag system in operation, which could work better if the waitresses were not so depressingly sullen and shouted the numbers in a less aggressive fashion... try alternatives.
Outdoors tables do have umbrellas but smoking is allowed so if you don't like to be an unwilling passive tobacco-gourmet

This place is absolutely perfect for the area! It looks very traditional as far as I can judge, with wooden furniture and lovingly decorated. The atmosphere was so nice, with the most beautiful and proud staff (in a very good way). They were gliding around making sure everyone had what they needed. I chose the potato pancake with mushroom stew, it was heaven! For dessert I even tried a potato pancake with apples. Also very, very good! Beer from the very local microbrewery added to the experience and the way the food was presented was so in line with everything else. Go there!
