Pleasant setting with nice bar for pre dinner drinks and the diner overlooking the water. We had Caesar salad followed by tenderloin of beef served on stir fried vegetables and roast potatoes then pineapple tart with ice cream. All nicely served and well presented. The wine list was reasonable wide, including a local choice but prices come out about £30 a bottle.

Every town in Vietnam has a market like this: big building with many shops located inside. This one ain't special in any way, so I would recommend that you visit one in another town. There are bigger, cleaner, more interesting ones than this one.

My wife and I took a walk around Chau Doc and came upon this restaurant and decided to get something to eat here.
I had the pork in clay pot while my wife had the Vietnamese pancake. To start we had spring rolls. All the food was very good, although I did find my pork was a little salty. However, when eaten with the rice it was fine.
I recommend this place and would eat here again.

Based on other reviews we picked this restaurant for our flexitarian day. Great pick! Very tasty food, lots of choice and spicy.
Prices also very reasonable at 30k-45k dong each for the different plates.
When you're coming from the night market, it's one block towards the river in the street running parallel to the river.

After seeing throngs and throngs of people enter the restaurant the night before; we decided it must be worth it.
Unfortunately all 4 of us thought our meals were bland; a bit tasteless. The spring rolls too thick, the fried noodles a bit tasteless. A bit disappointing to say the least.

I was looking for a restaurant close to the hotel when a cyclo-taxi driver recommended this restaurant to me. There weren't too many people there at the time.
I had beef with vegetables with rice and a tiger beer. The price was just $5. it was tasty and dinner was peaceful without too much noise from traffic. Service was good
I had a good dinner there.

Found this restaurant after Reading about it in Footprints travel book. (Footprints lists address as 74 Trung Nu Vuong, but we found it to be located at # 26). Two of us shared a generous serving of steamed shrimp in coconut water and a couple beers. It was served with a delicious spicy dipping sauce. You have to peel the shrimp and it can be a messy process but that's part of the fun of eating super fresh seafood! At 200,000 vnd($10) for the shrimp it's not the cheapest meal in town, but it was delicious and it's more than enough to share. The menu is in Vietnam/English which is good because I don't think they spoke any English but there were lots of smiles going around watching us peel and eat. They bring you a cold, wet, herbal smelling washcloth to clean yourself up after the fun.

Very flattish, not tasty. We are French and we use to eat good food and definitely it was not the case, I could say acceptable but the fish, clams, vegetables weren't cooked.
Furthermore our environment was a waste bin.
The river is full of detritus especially close to the floating restaurant.
It s a very hard task to find a good address in this city. Good luck!

Went here in a group of 13 and it was basically a Shambles. The orders were carefully written down but then the meals were delivered at lengthy intervals- and to the wrong people. Side serves of vegetables arrived 45" after the main meal they were meant to accompany. Wine by the glass was delivered already poured rather than poured at the table so we never got to see the bottle. There was a European menu and coupled with the decor we expected something approaching western standards- but were disappointed and the food was not great either. The restaurant was hot and not air-conditioned - yet we were not allowed to sit on the verandah where there was a breeze - despite the fact no one else was there. For these prices in Vietnam you expect a LOT better. Would not recommend.
