This Unibroue restaurant, obviously featuring their fresh offerings, is located beside the River Richelieu in Chambly less than an hour east of Montreal. Easy to get to from Aut 10 and easy to get back on to the highway to Montreal. The building is quite wonderful on it's own and the brewery has done a great job decorating it. We were in on a Saturday afternoon so the menu was abbreviated but still quite good. The food was very tasty, grilled cheese that was amazing, and game meat sausages that were splendid as well as very tasty fresh beer. There is a small Unibroue themed shop in the restaurant featuring tee shirts, glassware etc. Good food, great location in the summer for sure. Staff was amazingly wonderful, good personality and knowledgeable.

Glad to have good service as it seems to be harder to come by. Our waiter, Patrick T was fantastic, one of the best waiters I've had. The food was great, served quick, and inexpensive. For 2, large pizza, asparagus parmegiano, bruschetta, 2 drinks. $66 including a 20% tip.

Last night we ate at this restaurant. Normally, I would have gone to Tri Colori (Chambly's famous Italian resto), but that restaurant was full. I'm so happy it was! Otherwise we never would have discovered Restaurant au Coin de la Baie. The attraction at this restaurant is its patio on the water. It was too late in the season to sit outside but we sat by the (almost floor-to-ceiling) glass windows overlooking the water and had a gorgeous view.
The food was delicious, I had the salmon (served with couscous and a medley of pan seared veges). We ordered 2 bottles of Montezemolo Barolo @ $125 each - a little pricey on the wine. The wine list was small but good quality. What I enjoyed most was the presentation. The dishes were very pretty to look at and the portion size was just right for my main course. My boyfriend had the steak and fries - it was perfectly cooked but he found the portion size small. For appetizers we had the calmari and cod tacos. Both quite yummy.
Service was friendly and our server visited the table frequently. Another plus is that even though the dining room was quite busy with a lot of clients, the noise level was low - so we could talk comfortably and enjoy the conversation.
Overall, a lovely time and great experience. I will go back again.
Note: Parking is $2/h

Bread is excellent and tasty, came piping hot. Chicken was cold seemed to have been outside for long time then reheated. Salmon fish uncooked and caused sickness from it being uncooked. House wine was bland, tasted like vinegar. My advice, stay away!!!

Thought this would be a great place to stop for lunch - not too far from the Chambly Canal bike path. Only problem is that on the weekends they don't serve lunch! So, breakfast at lunchtime. But it was excellent; the muesli with fruit and slices of a nut bread with a caramel butter to spread on. Oh, and they're out of iced tea by 1:00.
Oh, and although they close at 3.00 p.m., they cleared all the settings of the outside tables by 2:00 p.m.
'So' - if you wish for breakfast without iced tea before 2:00 p.m., this is the place for you!
(There are plenty of other places close for a less problematic lunch which we intend to try out instead next time.)

Only drip coffee, overpacked, loud, slow service so food was served slow so it came lukewarm and quite bland tasting unfortunately!

During a recent visit to Chambly, we ate at La Cochonne Rit based on its high TA ratings. The restaurant is open, popular, very crowded and busy—as a result, it is very very loud to the point of being a distraction! However, the food was excellent. We had the poutine appetizer, salads, and for entrees mac & cheese and the steak frit—all were outstanding! The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly. But, for the noise level, it was a great dining experience!

Boulangerie artisanale avec un café et une boutique épicurienne. Spécialité de viennoiseries, charcuteries et de desserts maison.
For pick ups, lovely breads, my personal favourite being the maple pistachios loaf. In-house, good coffee, soup & menu lunches, and of course don't pass up on a warm chat with chef François should you come accross him!

The restaurant decor was last updated in the sixties or seventies, but you know, these are usually the places with the best food, an Pizza Sema did not disappoint. Not much english spoken here, but you can point at the menu. Try the pizza Quebecois. It was amazing, great crust, amazing toppings. You must go there. Service was prompt and cheerful. Price was HALF of what we pay in Ontario.
