After arrival was a nice welcome from owners. Unfortunately, the personnel service acted quite reluctantly, sometimes inappropriately to their position. Hope that the owner make a personnel changes to overall good impression of the hotel.

Stunning Terrace with old town and castle overwiev, international cuisine - steaks, home-made pasta, salads, ribs, wings, the Finest Czech and European wines. Come and try!
We tried to come here on the new year’s eve without making a reservation, but unfortunately the place is all booked out. So we came back for lunch on the following day also without making reservation, and were fortunate enough to get a table. The place was still busy on New Year’s day.
Service was very good. The waiter and waitresses are friendly, polite, patient and efficient.
We ordered pork ribs (the portion was huge) and the spaghetti with ham and pesto sauce. The food was good. The ribs were juicy.
Price is inexpensive and the ambience is casual.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work.

Lovely Tea House in charming quiet monastery garden. Come to enjoy great cup of tea, wide selection of shishas and vegetarian dishes prepared with utmost care. In sommer with amazing refreshing cold drinks&coctails out on the Terrace overlooking the old monastery garden. Non-smoking room, children friendly. Up a side alley across Krumlov castle main entrance gate.
It is a relaxing and comfortable tea house in CK. I suggest you to come after visiting the tower. There were many types of tea and I chose Yogi tea finally as I thought it was relative special for me as a Chinese. It indeed tasted good . I stayed in the tea house for hours for resting.

I'd stopped there for absinthe last summer. I had a good time. More photos and details on blog. Link in profile.

This place looks great and to have a table next to a window means having a great view. Unfortunately, this is the best thing about it. The food is good, however, it is not something you would remember. The service is slow and not attentive. They passed by like 6 times before noticing that our meals are finished. Price/quality ratio is not good.

Tornero

The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, we had pizza and hamburger, only sweet dumplings were a letdown - heavy and hard, I have suspicion that they were frozen before. The service was very good. They have outside Seating in front, but also in the backyard, where it is very quiet.

A creative concept of gastronomy and a certain influence of ,,Cuisine vitale" - that is how one might describe our creative aim and the certain ,,je ne sais quoi", which personifies the creators of the project. Our cuisine is international, complemented by modern lightened Czech gastronomy. The design of the interior and the service, the creation of a festive atmosphere, undivided attention and professional care from our personnel, unobtrusive compliments to our visitors - these principles are a whatchword for us, which we attempt to bear in mind as the host at all moments of contact with our guests.
Excellent indeed! We have enjoyed a delicious dinner paired with a beautiful Czech wine. The setup is very nice, cosy, yet classy and the staff very nice and attentive. Definitely recommending if the budget allows. Full dinner for 2 & wine can easily mount up in the range if 150-200 EUR. It was delicious indeed and we have enjoyed it but it does feel slightly overpriced. I looked online for the wine we had and it sells in retail for 3 times less the price we paid for it here. Also the bill included a 7% service charged (which is clearly stated upfront) but at the bottom of the bill it also says that tips are not included. This was a bit confusing. It still gets the highest mark as it does set itself apart from the other places we’ve eaten in Cesky Krumlov and don’t regret overspending by going there.

I found this the most-upscale restaurant in the region which is otherwise apparently determined by short tourist season and short-employed miserable cooks. Everything modern and clean, the food is good, service is nice and pricing adequate. I visited it few times in the past months and it was just bit unusual to be there almost alone in the winter time -- that is however symptomatic for the whole region, other restaurants may be even closed in this period.

We stayed in the restaurant for lunch down at the Terrace where you sit at the lake edge.
Some of us had a pizza and the rest normal meal. I would say that the pizza was expensive - a margarita costed 155 CZK (6 euro) - which would be a price for a pizza in the best Italien restaurants in Prague. Other pizzas prices were around 200 CZK.
The service was good.
Restrooms were clean but awful.
