Celbridge (/ˈsɛlbrɪdʒ/; Irish: Cill Droichid) is a town and townland on the River Liffey in County Kildare, Ireland. It is 23 km (14 mi) west of Dublin. Both a local centre and a commuter town within the Greater Dublin Area, it is located at the intersection of the R403 and R405 regional roads. In recent years Celbridge has expanded to be one of the largest towns in County Kildare by population, yet most of the town's services and amenities still centre on the single main street.

We are in Business 25 years in Celbridge. Over those years three different extensions have been adjoined to this Fantastic Building. The location on the Liffey in Beautiful Relaxing and visually entertaining. Our Sports Bar downstairs caters to all matches and sports activities but its a real RUGBY/ SOCCER and GOLF house. Our Upstairs Restaurant caters for Lunch and Dinner at present and all Functions after 8.30 pm ie Christening Birthday Parties Anniversaries and all Family Functions. You will notice from the photos the Fantastic Venue Available. We have our Restaurant Supervisor with us for the last Fifteen Years and a Chef with us Twelve years, so it's obviously a nice place to work and we all get along. For a friendly visit we recommend it to all.
We had a late lunch in June. Place looked interesting after checking TripAdvisor rating. Unfortunately, rating does not reflect the reality...
We had mixed feelings about food. My partner really enjoyed Caesar Salad while my burger had Curried Mayo (it was mentioned on the menu, my bad) which was awful but ,to be fair, this is only my opinion.
Service was average as waiter seemed to be a bit withdrawn.
The worst thing about this place is the level of cleanliness... This place needs a deep clean inside and outside! Window ledges are full of dust and litter, so are the rails around the sofas. Cobwebs are hanging off the wall lamps and the menu covers are sticky and cracked. The is a stack of old pallets and other debris at the car park.
We won't be back as there are better (and cleaner) places in Celbridge...

Last Sunday was a very special Lunch for our Mum's 100th Birthday. From the moment we arrived we just knew it was going to be amazing.
The staff had arranged our table in the Bar area so it was accessible for our guests who varied in age. They also (without request) had organised a 2nd table on which we were able to display our Cake, cards, Balloons etc. This helped create a real Party atmosphere.
Caroline and her wonderful professional staff were so attentive, kind and genuinely concerned that we were all enjoying the occasion.
The food was excellent. There were 16 of us and we were all happy with the quality and
quantity of their very impressive Lunch menu
Our experience at Becketts was exceptional due to the wonderful staff who really made our Occasion special. We could not have chosen a better restaurant for such a special Occasion. Our Mum had an amazing time and loved her Fish dish.
Thank You All.

First time in a long time since we dropped in to Da Vincis. Lovely friendly welcome from our waitress. We shared a starter of buffalo wings - wow were they spicey - but yummy too and plenty for two. Served with free italian bread tasties topped in a reduced balsamic to bridge the gap to our mains. I had Penne chorizo in an interesting creamy sauce with chicken and her nibs had the beef cannaloni a la casa in tomatoe sauce with basil served with a healthy helping of garlic bread. Cleared our plates with no room for afters or coffee. Ill be back for more as the Penne Tikka caught my eye.

My wife and I called in to the Village Inn, Main Street, Celbridge last Sunday after services for a quick drink. While there, we looked at the menu which was very appetising. We both had the chicken and mushroom starter with chips between us. This comes with side salad. We also enjoyed lovely guinness to wash it down. This was our first time here since renovations recently and we were very pleasantly surprised. Although the creamy sauce in the vol-a-vants was nice, it lacked that something to make it triumphant. Still, the starter was well presented and tasty. Good spot the "Inn", and we will be back.

We were in Leixlip for a week and dined at Alvitos twice. We had the fried mushrooms, duck papparadelle, seabass involtini and cheesecake. The second time we split the beetroot salad, onion rings, Italian sirloin with mushroom sauce cooked on the hot stone, and chocolate fondant cake for dessert. We enjoyed the food very much except for a small part of the steak that couldn't be chewed, and the fact that it was already past medium rare when they brought it to us on the stone. We removed it right away before it cooked more. I think I would try the filet if I went there again. We had excellent service the first night when we had a waiter. The second night, I think the manager had to handle the entire restaurant by himself so it was still good in spite of that. We enjoyed the hot stone cooking so much that we went on Amazon and ordered one for ourselves! We would definitely go there again.

Spanish / South American / Latin food, slightly adjusted for Irish tastes / Palates.
The food was ok but didnt taste delicious. I felt queasy after it but it may have been a coincidence. The patatas bravas are listed as vegetarian yet are cooked in the same oil as chicken wings making them most certainly not vegetarian - staff member didnt to understand the problem when questioned. Probably my least favourite eaterie in Maynooth currently.

The all new menu offers a delicious choice from early morning until late afternoon. Porridge, pancakes & homemade scones are but a small selection of our breakfast menu, with "the traditional Irish" proving so popular, it's available all day. Gourmet sandwiches, panini's & wraps are freshly made daily, with our "chicken delight" proving to be very popular. Cajun chicken, sweet pepper, cheese & mango sauce (made to Virginia's own receipe) is a tasty treat. We serve homemade soup with brown bread, a selection of hot meals including honey ginger chicken & lasagne. Our specials are all served with freshly made salads or fries, & our daily lunch special including a beverage is excellent value. Come visit us, & having sampled our tasty menu including homemade cakes & freshly brewed coffee, we hope you will return to this cosy haven in the centre of Maynooth.
Coffee Mill is excellent. Food is fresh and delicious. Choice is very good. Denis and Virginia are friendly and welcoming. All the staff are so nice and friendly and so helpful. I go there so often that I am disappointed when my "usual couch" is...MoreAndrew & Trish, Thank you so much for your kind review and please know that we love seeing you come in on such a regular basis. From now on we will keep the sofa reserved for you's especially .☺☺☺
