Great food in a little hole in the wall. The smoked Salmon tacos were amazing as were the smoked chicken tacos. They have many other items to choose from. While you're waiting for your order you have the beach right there to view. Definitely recommend you go anytime you visit!

Stopped in while in Cayucos for the Sea Glass Festival and Mermaid Ball. They have expanded, and have increased the varieties...the new, seasonal citrus cookies were incredible. Gracious free samples. While not inexpensive, the cookies are wonderfully worth the price

Wanted to love this coffee bar, but the Mexican coffee, although tasty, was too sweet for my taste. The pastry we shared was quite good, but really really sugary sweet. The staff directed us to a nearby restroom, which was fine. Nothing else to say, but kinda thought it would be more special. I love coffee and I am kinda fussy, I guess.

We had Dinner at Cafe Della Via to celebrate our anniversary. We both had the Chicken Marsala. It was delicious. It's a small place and reservations are probably required for large groups, but we got there when they opened so no problem with seating. The wait staff was courteous and not too pushy, which made for an enjoyable meal. They only open for dinner. I would highly recommend this place for a very good meal.

If you are looking for a special type of candy, or a million flavors of salt water taffy, you will find it here. I was just looking for a hard candy to suck to stop a sore throat...but I found so much more. I didn't need that much sugar or candy, but I am sure I could have found anything here. They have an entire wall of salt water taffy flavors.

Great Coffee and Tea.. They have a nice place to sit out front and people watch. Our Tea was so good we came back the second day and had it again.

Recently revisited this restaurant after a long absence from Cayucos, CA and it was such an excellent meal that we came back a couple of days later.
They have a varied menu with leanings toward the sea, probably because Cayucos is a small, charming sea side town in central CA.
We would suggest a walk on the newly reopened pier after you meal, especially the fish and chips or large slightly breaded shrimp.

My friend and I had late morning lattes at this tucked away coffee bar. We each enjoyed a baked good as well (pumpkin muffin and croissant with chocolate topping). They offer a variety of pastries/baked goods as well as breakfast burritos and more. We choose to consume our purchases outdoors under the covered patio. It had been raining lightly earlier in the morning. We were the only customers there at the time. A very peaceful location with a view of the well tended garden. Would definitely return in the future for coffee and snacks, The coffee bar does not have street frontage, It sits off the street behind the restaurant Lunada on Ocean avenue.

The restaurant has a good menu: soup, salads, fish/shrimp/etc & chips, sandwiches and a beautiful shrimp cocktail.
The service is fast, the food is good, the location is easy to find. Kids of any age are no issue. We will be back.
Split the shrimp cocktail, a salad, and one entree. You will get a variety; a nice way to try things so you know what to order when you return. Or just go for the Duckie's bowl and smile.

Located in picturesque Cayucos, California, Schooners has been offering guests an unforgettable dining experience since it opened in 1993. Embracing a nautical theme reminiscent of the early history of the Central Coast sailors and fishermen, Schooners boasts the best ocean views of any restaurant in the area. Gaze into the deep blue while enjoying one of our signature cocktails, or perhaps some of our famous calamari strips. Schooners menu features fresh seafood and steaks, prepared thoughtfully by Chef Beto Gonzalez. Take time to stop in, take a look and say hello; chances are you'll find yourself wanting to indulge in our house specialty Bloody Mary, our fresh seafood, and some lively conversation with our local patrons. Hope to see you soon!
Since our first visit here in 2009, we keep coming back because it offers us a perfect combination — a small beach bar with stunning views (from the bar and the adjoining upstairs patio), a great ambiance and vibe, wonderful staff (the owners are often present and fully engaged with customers), and good beer and pub grub. There is a steady flow of loyal locals here, which is usually a very good indication of a consistent quality in the experience.
The bar and patio are often full but they’re worth waiting for an opening. Just sit down and relax in a beach village atmosphere that can help cure what ails you. The food isn’t great cuisine but it’s just fine for its purpose, with classic beachside choices. We always enjoy the chowder in a bread bowl and the fried calamari (a generous portion). Frankly, we’ve never had anything here that wasn’t enjoyable.
We will return. Often.
